Go Italy, Venezuela and the US I'm too old for opening day attendance these days. Just cause in Detroit, opening day usually means temps in the 40s if we are lucky. No thanks. I will head downtown to a party somewhere though. Those are always epic. Detroit lights up on opening day. It's a holiday around here Quote

So you get there and drink and eat and listen to music and stuff by your car until it's time to go into the game. Used to be the only game of the year the Royals would sell out for years and years Now hopefully we get back to where baseball in September still matters Quote

He always acts like I spam everything with Royals and Chiefs, yet all we get from him related to sports is Red Sawx, Pats, Tom Brady, Larry Bird, Bruins, Celtics, blah blah blah. Who cares if we individually are most interested in talking about our own teams? Quote
cmh6476 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 6 minutes ago, HellToupee said: I think they’re going to be sneaky good this year Their moves weren't earth shattering by any means, but they made moves to strengthen the bullpen, and hopefully Jac Caglianone figures some things out and has a bit more luck than he did last year (looking at hard hit rate and in play vs outs you could expect he will). That would go a long way in helping them improve on last year. Quote

Missed last years playoffs I guess. He only had a .550 OBP. I don’t think anyone hitting behind him could have asked for more. You should watch the games. Or read the stats. Or just run your mouth. Up to you. Quote

Judge is batting .236 with 17 homers in the postseason… And before last seasons .500 display he was batting a robust .198 Stanton batting .254 with 18 homers in 17 less games and a 2024 post season run Judge can’t sniff. hes a great player but he has historically wilted in the playoffs.
