They can't go into the season with Devonta as the WR1 and this years draft is one of the worst WR drafts in memory. Quote

Paper it over with a cheaper veteran FA option and focus on rebuilding the OL and a replacement for Goedert. It is important to have a capable room of WRs. But you overemphisise #1s. Cincy minny and Dallas all have elite WR rooms. None of those teams even made playoffs. Pats just went to SB with Diggs who you say isnt a 1 (I agree at this point)...and guys. Denver may have beat Pats to go if QB was healthy and they have Sutton and just guys. Troy Franklin? 2nd year QBs like Maye and Nix took teams basically all the way to the SB with average WR rooms. Vets, established good QBs should br able to do the same. Having Justin Jefferson is a great thing. But not every team has one. There are only so many. Quote
