If it was that the NFL is socialist, and the US isn't, I disagree. If the US wasn't somewhat socialist, there would be no such thing as low income/affordable housing. No such thing as a tax code that for those who are low income, can result in paying no taxes, and in some cases, get back more than they paid in during the year. The earned income tax credit is a perfect example of that. (yes, I know the poor do pay 'some' taxes - sales tax, gasoline tax, etc.) There'd be no such thing as food stamps for people who qualify. No such thing as low income people qualifying for reduced insurance, reduced phone bills, reduced electricity bills, reduced natural gas bills, etc. Those utility companies don't swallow that, they pass it on to the ones who have the ability to pay. Those who pay nothing in, wouldn't have received a stimulus check for $1400 in 2021, while those who do pay in, but made a little too much which disqualified them for a check,, if we didn't have socialism in the US.
