Could you say that you don't kowtow to a singular political party's beliefs based on your posts here?

I would say for the most part no. If we get a discussion about guns or religion, I definitely hit more liberal positions. They just dont come up much.

I think it’s bizarre if every single position you have is either one side or the other 100%. I don’t even know how that’s possible.

I tend to vote across both sides, though on this site I've been called MAGA.

And some of that is regional as well. Like you could be a moderate Democrat in New York, but those same philosophies in the Midwest and you’re gonna be a communist. In the reverse is true.

I'm fiscally and socially conservative, but I also think that women should be able to choose to slaughter their unborn babies and that fágs should be able to marry each other. I'm for super small and limited government.

I'm a 2A loving lib that thinks there should be some fiscal sanity from DC, and HATEHATEHATE government overreach, censorship, and PC bullshit. When it comes to an individual's body and medical decisions, I'm downright libertarian.

At this point is there anyone that does? Burn them both down.

I guess MAGA isn't really a party :bench:

I'm a republican and generally against most liberal policies.  But I am not a MAGA.  Trump can be embarrassing and does dumb things.  So does every president.  I see Vance/Rubio absolutely being the best thing for this country in 2028.

The political talk here is primarily for entertainment value only.

Not for some, it's a matter of life or death dominating their lives every waking moment

No, but burn them too. At this point, MAGA is an extremist movement. Extremists suck.

I'm glad you brought that up!

I've explained my position numerous times, and will again if a real person asks me to. Fascist Russkie bots like you don't count.

If people on "both sides" would take a deeper look at themselves, I bet they'd find that they are Libertarians.

Agreed. Not full-on Libertarian, but at least a few libertarian principles.

There is only two teams, the government Vs citizens.   I’m on the citizens side.

I really hate the far left.  Which means I hate the democrats now.  I’m also aware of how dooshy the right is.

My great-grandparents had a picture with Harry Truman hanging in their kitchen.   They were active with the masonic lodge and Truman was active with the Mason's just down the road in KC. Long gone are the days off the Truman Democrats.   They're all pretty much moderate Republicans now and will vote with candidates like Obama/ McCaskill when they can convince them they aren't far-lefty Pelosi liberals.

I voted for Trump in 2016 becase I thought he had no chance and maybe if they almost lost to an absurdity like him the democrats would gain control of the crazy m-frs in their party that were gaining traction. They went the other way. Big time. Too scared or lazy for the internal fight. And that’s because of Obama.

During the first 100 days of Trump's residency, every day felt like Christmas morning with all the wonderful thigs he was doing. Moving the GOP away from Bush into the Trump orientation has been welcome. There's now a lot of overlap with what I like, but Its not a perfect alignment.

I'm nowhere near the point where I'd consider voting Dem any time soon.

Both parties suck right now.  In decades past, I could have been convinced to vote for either, given their messages.  Now, the GOP is the lesser of two evils.  The Dems have gone so far off the reservation, it’s not even funny.  Moderates of yesteryear are now MAGA.  Just go listen to leading Dems speeches from 25-30 years ago.

Well stated. A perfect example is Clinton's SOTU address in 1995. Especially where he spoke about immigration. He'd be considered a MAGA+ today.

He would not, Hillary voted for the first wall bill roughly 2006, Obama said the same thing & Biden had most of the Dem side of Congress prepared to vote for an immigration bill with a daily kill switch written by a Republican from Oklahoma. Meanwhile Reagan have the most pro-immigration speech since the New Deal.

As absurd and grotesque I might think Trump is, theres no fockin way I am lining up with today’s democrats. Because I’m a grown man with real life experience. We have 50-60+ men here that have the same exact political views as college girls. It’s like you have no wisdom to impart or you’re such a wuss that you’re afraid to disagree. The only thing keeping the democrats afloat is Trump.

Deflection. All I said is that the Bill Clinton of 1995, would be considered a MAGA today. Wasn't talking about Hillary in 2006, Obama, or Biden.
