Lefty Mayor Zohran Mamdani opposes requiring ID’s to vote — but mandates no less than five forms of identification in order to shovel snow.

The New York City Sanitation Department website says that in order to register as an emergency snow shoveler, an applicant must provide two small photos sized 1-1.5 square inches, two original forms of ID plus copies, and their social security card.

This clown may lose the mid terms for them. Throw in some more AOC and plenty of Crockett and I can see the Dems losing.

He's the dumbest one of all. It's unreal to think that Liberals believed his nonsense. He's in way over his head.

How are you supposed to rig elections if people have to identify who they are before they register to vote?

That's not fair. Do you know how difficult it is for dead people to get an ID?

To be fair, DHS considers snow shovels to be deadly weapons.

What snow shovel? And you don't think someone can kill you if they smack you in the head with a steel shovel?

I think he should be blamed for the snow itself - never had a storm like this before he was mayor.

Nope. The northeast has never had a snow storm.

He did run on combatting climate change and hasn’t done squat.

What are those climate dopes even doing these days? Have they actually realized finally what a scam it was they all fell into?

Stupid.  96 was much worse. But the city had a competent mayor then.

Collecting on disability, food stamps, street corner begging, AND standing on street corners holding a shovel. A New Yorker's dream come true. Mamdani is great for NYC.

While there are plenty of people dumb enough to vote for this guy, they probably cheated in the election.

Liberals piss themselves over the idea he "came out of nowhere."

It doesn't strike me as such a bad idea. They need to clear the roads of snow and Mamdani wasn't looking for volunteers, was willing to pay them properly. That's why they needed ID.

They still have money for stuff like this. In 30 years th Mamdanis will be sellling off all the paintings and exhibits in the museums, but they're got a pile of other assets to burn through first.

The solutions are in business efficiency. Not bringing on haphazard ideas of paying random idiots to do something where all you are doing is inviting lawsuits and getting nothing done and wasting tax dollars you don't have.

New York City and State are facing severe, multi-billion dollar budget gaps, with the city’s shortfall of $2.2 billion this year projected to hit $10.4 billion in 2027

Anytime someone brings up snow storms in NYC , the conversation always leads to “remember ‘96?”
