I didn't have them on my bingo card for this draft but may consider something similar but not until much later. I want to stick to clearly 80s style type music, at least what I consider 80s and if I like it myself. I'm not just going to pick a popular 80s song unless I like it a lot myself. Unless by late in the draft you guys draft all the good stuff ahead of me. Quote

We could easily do a fine job limiting ourselves to the second half of 1982 or the first third of 1988 or anything else. I could put together a strong list just by limiting myself to January 1980. Voltaire Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I've been chatting with Biff in direct message. In the other thread, he'd indicated that he'd not intended for metal, country, rap, or hair bands. He'd mostly wanting pop, soft rock, or synth-pop and the stuff we've been picking. We've followed that pretty well so far and I, personally, was primed to blow this open with some songs that did chart on the top 40 and are on the 8 for 80 but do break the goals he was setting and would indeed take us inro a much harder direction. This harder stuff is what I prefer but... I don't want to break the theme here. So I'm going to refrain from doing that. I'm going to roll with softer stuff like you've all been doing and I hope you join me. 1 Quote
