No clue if it would apply to Tranny ID’s, but this is not what the 14th amendment says.  HTH

And the 2nd was written for Americans to keep muskets as part of a militia before we had a standing army. Both have been applied to modern times.

I’d argue that the modernizing of the 14th has gone much better than the 2nd.

Also, let’s give the framers and amenders some credit. They had ideals in mind beyond immediate concerns. The guiding principle is for a nation that would move forward as a place where all men, who they believed were created equal, would be treated as such.

It started with gender fluidity. Now sex is malleable. It’s all to manipulate language to try to distort objective truths. It’s part of the plan.  It’s queer theory. It’s why they want drag queens reading to kids. See also…blm/stolen land/anti-colonialism/body positivity/CRT/no human is illegal/reparations/blah blah blah.  It’s literally all the same.  Disrupt norms to shift power to the oppressed.  Thats why they will die on the hill of men in women’s sports.  Even though it only affects a tiny sliver of population, it affirms a man can be a woman and feeds further disruption of societal norms. They give zero fuks about a tiny number of dudes who want to swim or play volleyball.  It’s a vehicle to further their overall movement.

Who’s dying on the hill of men in women’s sports?  Most people are against that

You do know the term “dying on a hill” has nothing to do with a majority position, right?

The term “they” does.  HTH

If you identify as a cat or a tree, you cannot put that on your license.

The fact that you would use this sort of comparison suggests to me that we’re simply too far apart on this issue to usefully discuss it further.

I think you get a bum rap here sometimes, but then other times you’re just fuking stupid and deserve all the criticism. And the “HTH” shtick makes it worse.

Are you disputing that using “they” implies a majority opinion?

Use of the word “they” implies nothing quantitative, except more than one. It can literally be anything from two, to an entire population.

Which is why it’s so often used by bigots who then can claim innocence.

Agreed. For example, when referencing black people being violent, if someone says “they”, it could be viewed as racist.  Just because black people are over represented in violent crime, doesn’t mean it’s a majority.

It doesn't matter.  The fact that they do means they are literally raising generations of people who are brainwashed, and that is one reason those people, as adults, shout the things you asked about.

So the “generations of people” that are brainwashed are celebrating their leaders being killed?  That’s what you’re going with?

Hyperbole can be effective, and sometimes the truth hurts.  An ID exists for... wait for it... identification, not to make you feel good.  I already said that I don't think this law is a perfect solution -- someone like Brianna Wu, who has gone through medical changes including plastic surgeries, clearly presents as a woman, so I don't think this law is effective in that situation.  But that is independent of the constitutionality of it.  The Progressive Left will fight for it, of course, because their goal is trans women to be "women", no modifiers, full stop as you like to say.  But that will never happen.

Sorry Tim.  I realize your goal, EVERY DAY, is to just goad people in to arguing with you every day, but I have no desire to do that.  And your comment does nothing to justify your claim of racism.  You're just pivoting to try to continue the argument.  Have a great day MongoTim.

Well your “joke” about No Father’s Day already did that, this is indisputable

Yes, this is definitely the hill they want to die on, even though voters put transgender issues and gender identity near the bottom of issues of concern to them in the Mid-term elections.

Nancy Mace raising the issue again with Tim Walz and using a false equivalency.

What do you expect? They don’t dare talk about inflation, health care, the economy, immigration, Epstein, Iran. What’s left to talk about? Trans issues is all they have left.

And you don’t dare talk about Stephanie Minter. You’re worse.
