Budgets and funding can be passed through reconciliation. You don't need a 60 vote threshold. I don't see why Republicans need to involve/entertain the demands of dingleberries clinging to Satan's asscrack at all, nor give in to a single one of their demands.

Use reconciliation and tell the sex-and-drug trafficking cartel importers to fock off on every single issue. What am I missing? Is it because we want to tie the SAVE Act to DHS funding? If so, we're never going to get that unless we can get to 60 seats somehow and we're nor close.

This is such a fork-up that the prez went from over 50% approval to only 1/3 of America approving now.

My hope is that people remember this for a long time and that Republicans don’t even catch a whiff of a majority for a couple decades. But I know that’s just a pipe dream. Bush killed thousands of American soldiers and plunged the country into a massive recession… and 8 years later the doofus voters picked another Republican.

I guess it’s an improvement when he shutdown the entire government over wall funding that he ended up not getting in the budget they passed two months later.

He really isn’t good at this part. The spending part he’s really good at, but the actual keeping things open he’s not.
