Peope on the Right and the Left think that they're the when it comes to politics.  The reality is, it's us in The Middle that decides elections.  The Middle broke for Trump in 16 because they didn't like Clinton and had suffered economically under Obama.  The Middle broke for the Democrats in 18 because Trump was an a-hole.  The Middle broke for Biden in 20 because Trump was an a-hole and COVID and all the crappy economic things that came out of it happened under his watch*.   The Middle broke for Trump in 24 because Biden made Mr. Burns from The Simpsons look like The Liver King and people were feeling the economic pinch of post COVID marketplaces.  The Middle is going to break against Trump in 26 because he's an a-hole and he has not delivered on his economic promises.  One of those promises was "Day One". Trump supporters feel like he should be immune from this because he spews SO much B.S. but ALL politicans shouldn't promise if they can't deliver.  The Middle doesn't forget that.

* For the record and to be fair to Trump...the middle would have broken for Trump in 20 if it weren't for COVID.  The economy was humming so much that The Middle was willing to overlook that he was an a-hole.

your assessment is fair, however the democrats policy has moved so insanely left and they have zero solutions

when the entire party has been nothing but orange man bad and put illegals before Americans I still cant see the middle voting for that garbage despite Trump

It seems like every poll says otherwise, but we will see come November.

I’ve been overlooking that he’s an a hole for ten years. Shows you how bad the other side is. That’s why he won. Blame yourselves.

I can give an example of why democrats lost and will continue to do so: Illegal alien tranny rapes a 14 year old boy in a store bathroom and is given 6 months jail that it already served and NYC policy is to not turn it over for deportation. But it’s TRUMP! And his cult members.

I am for and against it simultaneously

I dont think the federal government should have say on state elections, but since the affect they federal level I am for it, if that makes sense

also I am for requiring ID to register and vote, so on policy I agree with the SAVE act

and when you live in california with no common sense that has jurisdictions that allow illegals to vote and allow sanctuary cities (immigration falls under federal jurisdiction) which increases its electoral and house powers, I am all for knocking that sh1t off and federalizing it

Years ago I lived in BFE NorCal. Right off highway 36 between Red Bluff and Fortuna, near Dinsmore. Frontier area in the emerald triangle, Trinity county.

That area votes overwhelmingly red, and is full of folks on disability, MediCal, and SS. If they were removed from voting rolls for some reason, especially if it occurs close to an election, how many of those folks are going to make an hour+ drive on treacherous mountain roads in potentially poor fall weather to the county seat to re-register, assuming they even realize they are no longer registered?

My guess is very few. Especially since obtaining necessary documentation can be costly and time consuming. Many of these folks don't have internet except on their phones, assuming they get a signal where they live.

So, MAYBE an illegal vote or 2 will be prevented, but at what cost? Is it worth disenfranchsing a few hundred voters in a remote area in order to MAYBE prevent an illegal from voting?

I don't think it is.

I’ve given up hope that democrats will engage in some manner of self reflection and stop being so retarded.  So now I vote the same as rednecks and evangelical Christians. I’d rather not but what are you gonna do? Side with the losers that will be marching tomorrow? The Squad? I don’t think so.

Trump is nearly everything you guys on the Left side of the spectrum say he is. There's really no defending his conduct as a whole. I just think putting the country in the hands of the current Left in this country would wreck the ship altogether, so that leaves me tolerating current circumstances. In Trump's defense, the left is obsessed with sinking him as is mainstream media. In non-defense of Trump, he brings much of it on himself.

No shlt? That's insane! We were just between Mad River and Dinsmore. Went to Hayfork with some regularity.

When I used to go off exploring in my Jeep the locals would tell me which roads/trails to stay away from due to grows and cartel presence up in the mountains. I've lived in multiple big cities, but podunk Mad River is the only place I ever had a gun pulled on me. Good times and fantastic weed!

Stay in SoCal and visit Hayfork. It seems idyllic, but at times it really sucked. Like getting a couple of feet of snow dumped on you and being housebound without power for a few days. I still love the area, but wouldn't want to live there again. Driving 1.5 hours to the nearest supermarket was a drag.
