It wasn’t just disagreeing, it was failure to recognize facts and data. Like @Reality believing that total deaths didn’t increase in 2020. I still get a kick out of that one. With the requisite demo to thrive. It's mostly Asian now. Which hurts my business because they aren't degenerate drinkers like Fremont used to be full of when I was in high school. I enjoy verbally sparring with them and all of us knowing we're just screwing around and if we could go have a beer together, we would. Honestly there's only a handful of posters causing most of the problems, but that handful are so prolific that it weighs down the whole bored. Fnord is a solid poster. That company is owned by a Japanese family. Several of the guys I worked with in SD were bay area transplants, and they had similar experiences. Fremont is in my territory. When I grew up, it was full of white kids. We started drinking at a young age because there wasn't much else to do there. By the time I reached high school, there were multiple parties every weekend. As kids, we purchased large amounts of alcoholic beverages every week. It is now inhabited by mostly Asians working in silicon valley. They aren't big drinkers and their kids are more concerned with prepping for SAT's and graduating at the top of their class than blowing off steam on a Friday or Saturday night. My old high school doesn't even have a football team anymore. Gary Plummer played there. Its not the same place I grew up. It breaks my heart. 1 Quote
