The real reason Tim posted negative comments about the GC is that he landed at FBG with all the welcome of a turd plopped into a punch bowl. He was ubiquitous and obnoxious and he abused language claiming he wanted debate when all he really wanted was to hear himself pontificate. He was more or less unwelcome. Several threads were even started to try to explain to him how he might learn to get along. He pledged to follow the advice and claimed folks could take him at his word that he would follow that advice and he then demonstrated what his integrity, his word, was worth by going back on it within hours. He then needed a way to ingratiate himself over there to make up for his prevarication. His next plan was to denigrate this site as he had read a post or two over there poking good natured fun at the competition, not understanding there was no real animosity. He wanted to establish his cred over there by hating on this place not understanding that would not lend cred. As is his wont he now goes back on that. He invents an explanation which will last only until he needs a new explanation. He will now need another new explanation. Quote
