I don't care about Tim.  I care about what he's doing to this message board, which is at least the 2nd one he's done it to.  Fortunately, I haven't been on any others where he posted and hopefully won't be ever again.  I care that he's driving away the GOOD posters like EG and SuperMike, just as he did over at FBG's.  A lot of good posters left FBG's due to Tim's posts, and the same is happening here.  Those are the things I care about.  If Tim honored his word and stayed in his own dedicated thread so the rest of us could continue as we have for decades all would be good.  But he violated that vow as well.  He's a lieing, welching POS.

Do you think that people like seafoam (and the 5 aliases he has posted under) or Maximum Overkill (and the various aliases he has posted under) and some of the dogpiling doesn't chase good posters?

Here's what I'd do if I was in charge of this forum.

Post the following.

 

1: This is a forum that tries not to practice censorship. If you're one of those complaining that there's too many political threads.

1b: Quit complaining. Sure, some members start far too many political threads, but have every right to do so, & you have every right to recognize it as such & not read it,

1c: Donald Trump is like no other president in history. Good or bad, that's going to create strong emotions on both sides & I believe that's why there's so many political threads relative to the past.

Accept it.

1d: If you don't think there's enough ‘fun’ threads, you have every right to start as many as you'd like.

 

 

2: If someone's states something about a certain subject that you find offensive, or directs something at you that you find offensive, put them on ignore.

 

 

I've never been suspended. Wouldn't it make sense for Mike to give some examples of posts that resulted in suspensions, so we'd have some idea of what is over the line according to him. He wouldn't have to reveal who posted it, just the subject matter.

 

Better yet, don't report anyone. See #2

 I have a handful of people on ignore, but I've never reported anyone. For those of you that have, grow up. No one has the right to never be offended. Once again, go back to the basics.

If you don't like what someone posts, put them on ignore. Don't be a little snitch/ & if it's still too much for you, go start your own forum that's nothing but duckies/bunnies & rainbows/unicorns.
