People that create multiple threads daily that could easily be dropped into already existing threads. When I first came here I was immediately told I was an alias. It took a couple years before that went away. I've never attacked someone that didn't come at me first. Hell yeah I'm part of the problem! And hell no I won't stop unless everyone else does too. I migrated over here well before the PSF got shut down because I was on a ridiculous 10 month suspension for saying something far tamer than what goes on here daily. The GC was the same then that it is now, but with fewer posters now. The personal insults are what make this place ugly. I don't mind being insulted, but often it goes well beyond playful namecalling. Boff sidez do it, and if we all stopped doing that and policed ourselves, we'd be much better off. But we don't seem inclined to do that. I've participated in lots of threads, started a few, and try not to interject politics into non-political threads. I'm more friendly with a handful of righties than I am with "my people" on the left. I enjoy verbally sparring with them and all of us knowing we're just screwing around and if we could go have a beer together, we would. Rest assured, you're not the only one expressing this sentiment. Many of the old timers, a group of whom I do not consider myself a part of, feel the same way. That's part of why they left and took most of the humor with them. Others got the ban hammer because of the influx of waste from other sites. It is what it is at this point. My only advice is to avoid interacting with, or posting in threads started by, the type of people who have rooned this once great, hilarious, uncensored corner of the innerwebs. Quote
