Frozenbeernuts Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Libs will wonder what is fake about it. They won't bat an eye that CNN is doing their best to undermine Trump and shape the narrative. Why wouldn't CNN portray the agreement more accurately? I'm not asking for rose colored glasses, but reporting honestly with an America first mindset is what a proper American news agency would do. That was never true. @The Psychic Observer That’s what the Iranian government says. This hasn’t changed. CNN reported correctly. Look we’re going to know the answer to this very shortly. Prior to the war 100s of ships passed through Hirnux daily without paying anything. If that starts happening again right away then CNN’s information will have been wrong (and much more importantly it will be a huge relief for the world- a relief, not a victory, because a victory implies that we gained something we didn’t already have} If on the other hand Iran gets a toll for every sip that passes through, then Trump, the guy who started this thread, and those here who agree with them will all look like idiots. (And much more importantly we will continue to be focked.) Quote

Be careful tho you will freak out the maga nuthuggers. Their update page includes the Iranian 10 points: Fundamental commitment to non-aggression from the US. Controlled passage through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with the Iranian armed forces, which would mean that Iran retains its leverage over the waterway. An acceptance of Iran’s nuclear enrichment programme. The lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions and resolutions against Iran. End of all resolutions against Iran at the International Atomic Energy Agency. End of all resolutions against Iran by the United Nations Security Council. The withdrawal of US combat forces from all bases in the region. Full compensation for damages suffered by Iran during the war – to be secured through payments to Iran by ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The release of all Iranian assets and properties frozen abroad. The ratification of all these matters in a binding UNSC resolution. Quote

CNN and others said they received thier list from Iranian officials. Maximum Overkill Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 You can't rely on CNN, Fox or MSNBC for your news. These are no longer news outlets, they are political chess pieces. CNN & MSNBC are so far left it's ridiculous and Fox is just as bad, only the other way. If you want real news find it yourself, Rachel Maddow has no clue, she's a far left lesbian extremist, Anderson Pooper is a gay left extremist and Jesse Waters is a closeted gay Man. I win, thank you for your time. 1 Quote

I think the news networks should be asked (forced?) to draw a stronger line of demarcation between news and opinion. I know the current FCC is trying to hammer late night talk shows and The View for this stuff (and I'm not saying that is right or wrong), but I think if someone is watching CNN or FOX News or MSNow they are being told that what they are watching is factual stuff. Perhaps they need to have a thing were it is fully outlined that opinion is what is running from 8-12 at night or something. Basically it is news without influence before that and then you can spin it however you want in that 4 hour window at the end of the day Quote
