I wonder why they need to waste money setting up a storefront.  Grocers have a storefront and appealing displays in order to encourage shoppers that purchase goods.

Here, they're just giving stuff away.  Create an app.  Put the food in a warehouse and just have people place an order in the app and come pick up their free stuff.  

I guess in order to do that you'd have to track inventory which means people can't steal the funding as easily.  I mean if you say you're buying 5000 loaves of bread and your inventory system says you only gave away 500 loaves people are going to ask where the extra bread went.

That’s not the point. The point is your values. I disagree with the kind of socialism that calls for government to own businesses that compete with private commerce. Do you agree with that?

Do you believe that this government saving a failing business is going to work hard at taking over the airline industry? 

I see it as a nothing burger that will go nowhere other than supporting a system that is in turmoil because the leftists don't want to fund key agencies associated with air travel.

You’re talking about taking over an industry now, & that gets closer to communism. I don’t think either Trump or Mandami are communist but they are both socialist in this one specific way, just one is so in a much larger way. I see maga folks banging their heads with their fists over Mandami but it’s not because they oppose government ownership of businesses.

Again you are stating a basic socialist precept, the state saving industry to protect industry & labor. And government subsidizing labor protects the worker from the disruptions of capitalism. This has been around 180+ years. Basically you’re arguing the left is insufficiently socialistic.

No I am not. When our government employees are getting paid and key pieces of our transportation and law enforcement are not getting paid, drastic and temporary measures are required to get the situation under control. We are currently in a civil war. Admit it or not. But this is not socialism vs. liberal communism.

It would cost more, but who cares, it's just government money. Make gourmet meals and deliver them directly to all the welfare kings, queens, & all their little street urchin.

Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, pretty much anything ever rumored to be up Richard Gere's chute.  None are for me because after they have been up there they just can't get clean enough for me no matter how expertly prepared.
