WhiteWonder Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Meh, why not. really just wanted to post about Lamelo Balls dirty asss play on Bam Adebayo Quote
Gepetto Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Coby White hit a 3 on a catch and shoot on an inbounds pass even better than this to send the game to OT. Quote
Gepetto Posted April 15 Posted April 15 At the end of OT down 5 Tyler Hero hit a corner 3. Miami pressured the Hornets bringing the ball up, Hero got the ball, retreated to the opposite corner and put up a 3, fouled by Lamelo Ball. Hero made all 3 free throws. Heat up 1 now. 8 seconds left… Quote
Gepetto Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Ball makes a layup with 4 sends to take the lead. Heat go the other way for a layup, blocked by Miles Bridges! Hornets win, at home. Very happy fans. Quote
WhiteWonder Posted April 15 Author Posted April 15 i do not understand how Ball was not ejected Quote

Gepetto Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Jalen Green for the Suns with 35 points with 3 minutes left. Deni 35 for the Trailblazers. Jerami Grant with two big 3s late. Jrue Holiday 21 points Deni with 41 at end of game and clinching points and a win for Portland. Quote
Fumbleweed Posted April 28 Posted April 28 SGA has now missed ONE fourth quarter shot in his last 17 games. ONE. That is one crazy stat. Quote
WhiteWonder Posted April 28 Author Posted April 28 Hit my player points parlay last night. I guess I am cheering for the Knicks. Im not exactly some huge fan but neither of those teams is getting by Boston anyway. Quote

patweisers44 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Just got home from game seven Pistons win. Hoping Toronto wins other game seven. Cleveland a tougher matchup for Detroit. 1 Quote
Fumbleweed Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Glad the Celtics lost. Literally all they do is shoot 3-pointers. They are a one-trick pony. Quote

WhiteWonder Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 6 minutes ago, patweisers44 said: I was referring to the wheelchair for sure. Yes he came back but it was WWE level stuff leaving in a wheelchair. oh it was definitely dumb. I just don't recall players, especially stars in the league back then not gutting stuff out. Not playing in game 7, at home, for a team that I think would have been favored to come out of the east... favored against the knicks, I think likely favored against the Pistons too. The team really held him out for fear of another long term injury? It just seems so asinine since he was questionable. If he had been ruled out sooner and it was a situation where he literally could not take the court, i'd understand. Quote
Gepetto Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Brandon Ingram (Toronto) didn't play game 6 or 7, they lost the series. He had/has heel inflammation. Quote
GobbleDog Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Lakers +3.5 series spread ... at -160. Seems rather low to just win 1 game. Quote

Gepetto Posted May 14 Posted May 14 https://www.facebook.com/SportsCenter/videos/the-thunder-complete-the-sweep-in-la/1168552543000105/ Lebron missing a 2 foot shot down one with 20 seconds left. All of the basketball he's played and he can't even hit a short bank shot, at a 45 degree angle. Quote
WhiteWonder Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 at this point I am cheering for Cleveland... and i'd kind of like them to knock out the Knicks as well. No offense to them, i've just always liked Kenny Atkinson as a coach and Mitchell and Jarrett Allen. In the West, I have to pull for the Spurs I think, if I want someone to have a shot to knock off the Thunder. I prefer the Wolves but I just don't see them putting up much of a fight. Quote

Even though I bet on the Knicks all year (and profited plenty)... I love a good LOSING streak - I was the only person on the planet rooting against the '16 Cubs breaking the goat curse. But I digress... the Knicks haven't won a title since '73. Other people's misery makes me happy - I can admit it. It'd also be funny if the Cavs made the Final or even won it.... and then Labron goes next year and they completely suck. As for the west, the Timberwolves have never won a title - that must not end. As for OKC, I've never liked them or their stupid logo - how much thunder they actually get? As a Floridian, that's offensive. Plus, how can ya not root for Wemby - seems like a classy dude. Quote

Although I hate Harden… Wolves doesn’t feel like the type of team you actively cheer for to not win a title or be on a drought. Annoying teams like the Cowboys, Yankees, Lakers with their fan bases and expectations… sure. i like watching Castle play Quote
Gepetto Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I'm cheering for the Timberwolves and Cavaliers because I like how Anthony Edwards and Donovan Mitchell play. Quote

cyclone24 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I always chuckle when I hear younger guys talk about how they would compare to the Jordans and Larry’s of my generation. They would’ve walked right by your bench as a team and scowled at you and probably told you to go fock yourself on the way by. This generation is going over with eight minutes left and jerking the other team off in the middle of their huddle.. Quote
