NBA journalist claims LeBron and Luka ‘don’t get along very well’ - Lakers Daily https://share.google/7dTllxlESz4vZbwMR

This is a Cleveland Ohio journalist trying to make a case for a trade to get Lebron back to Cleveland. He sorta has an agenda, that his listeners will eat up.

This is when NBA really starts getting good. Not been a particularly good playoffs up to this point. Too many ass kickings.

In Manhattan next week. Looking forward to watching some Knicks games. Pulling for them versus Spurs.

I was gonna turn off the Cavs/Knicks game when the Cavs were up by 20 in the 4th… glad I didn’t! Crazy comeback, now into OT…

Cleveland, letting Jalen Brunson eviscerate James Harden one on one for the last 45 minutes has been quite the coaching decision.

what a scene though…great comeback

Great game. Cavs probably wondering if they'd be better off without Harden... another 6 turnover game and a few air-balls.

I figured this would be a typical Knicks blow out and Game 2 would be the nail biter. Now I have a feeling Game 2 will be Knicks domination. Cavs caught the Knicks on a down night, took a massive lead... and blew it. Mentally devastating, and unlikely to catch the Knicks on back to back down games considering they've been blowing teams out all playoffs.

Brunson about to have 12 assists next game…no way they dont double now.

Harden helped the Cavs get this far. I still can't believe they traded a young Darius Garland for him, but Garland was/is injured and they didn't want to give up on this year I guess. Two great games in the semifinals.

I can't believe Houston traded Jalen Green et al for Durant either. Some GMs just must love older stars.

Yeah, it’s crazy. These guys do all sorts of projections, etc. that if they take on aging player, he will probably average this, but we will probably put this many more butts in seats and sell this much more merchandise.

now I don’t know how many butts James Harden puts in the seats anymore, but he’s about at his career average. The difference is it feels like he really has to work his way up to getting to that average where he used to have to have a string of bad nights to get down to his average.

Entering Tuesday, NBA teams trailing by 22 points or more in the fourth quarter of the playoffs had a record of 1-594.  Now there's 2.

At 7:49 in the fourth and down 71 - 93, the Knicks moneyline odds reached 150-1

Wemby is not of this planet. We have never seen anything like this.

He's unreal. The only thing I'd worry about with him is nagging injuries down the line. We typically see players of his size break down eventually, and fast.

Hopefully he stays healthy and never has to deal with that. He's one of the best I've ever seen.

Yeah, reminds me a little bit of when teams realize they didn’t have a whole lot of answers for Allen Iverson they just started beating him up and putting him on the floor all the time. I was telling a buddy last night that I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a superstar who you could say might be the face of the league get as few calls as he actually does.

I’m just not sure they can beat OKC without fox and Harper. Harper‘s been really really good.

Just got a good reminder of why I watch roughly 7 dribbles of Live NBA a year.

Just saw a mashup of the recent game where SGA flopped on every shot just about.

This is the MVP?  Lmao.  This is unwatchable.

Eat your heart out Lebron!  You got nothing on this guy!

First two games of conference finals were epic. The flopping is a bit rough but the talent, skill when they are going all out is great.

Spurs and Knicks would be a great finals.

Another backcourt guy out for the Spurs now. Don’t think they have enough even with the most dominate player on the court.

I think they still have plenty. Stephon Castle can play point guard and shooting guard. Devin Vassell can play shooting guard and small forward, and Keldon Johnson can play shooting guard and small forward. I think Keldon Johnson should have started all year.

I hope you are right. Want them to pull this out.

I was watching a clip of Iverson.  At 160lbs getting wacked on the head going into weird situations.....held his feet all the time if he could.

The current mvp cant get off a jumper without falling down.

End of story.

Yup, it's a horrible product to watch right now. Easily fixed, quit calling that bs.

Wemby is incredible though.

Sga- 16 pts from field.  16 pts off 17 free throws.  Easy 32.

He throws a stiff arm or literally grabs the defenders arm routinely.  Did not know that was legal.  Then flops and gets a call where no one touches him.

I love basketball, it was my main sport in HS.  But I have no idea what is going on here.  Rules are random.  Its wishy washy.  There is no rhyme or reason to calls.  Its half acting.  Half basketball.

I also get landing zone rules have been around.   But does it basically mean you cannot contest a jumper?  How do you go up and contest a shot without being anywhere around the guy when coming down?  I saw a clip of Fox ending up behind SGA.  Doesnt touch him.  Behind him.  SGA falls down and its a landing zone call.  So where exactly can the defender be to avoid a landing zone call?  Is it even possible?  Unless the guy is shooting a hard fadeaway where exactly can the defender end up?  Apparently behind the jump shooter is landing zone.  So in that case you technically need to be 5 feet away from the guy.  Doesnt make any sense.

Agreed.  And these are supposedly the best NBA refs, picked based on higher accuracy throughout season.

Good point. What's always driven me insane ... and it happens in both NBA and college ... is when a shooter fakes a shot, tricks a defender to jump, then intentionally jumps into the defender while shooting and gets a foul. That's ridiculous. The shooter basically fouled himself. They shouldn't call that garbage.

They aren’t supposed to call that a foul on the defender. When they do it’s the refs fault.
