The far-left group, South Poverty Law Center, has been INDICTED for funneling money to the KKK and Socialist Party

The SPLC was funneling money to the KKK?

Sometimes enemies need each other.

This reminds me of the plot of The Man Who Knew Too Little when the remnants of the KGB and CIA, in order to stay relevant, (it was an early 90s movie) got together in a conspiracy to reignite the Cold War. Unfortunately for them, utterly clueless Bill Murray was around and bumbled and stumbled his way into accidentally foiling the plot.

Please explain how they are a hate group (unless you mean that they hate racists and bigots.)

The charge is so laughable. The SPLC has paid informants in the Klan and other hate groups. They have saved many lives that way. They’ve been doing it for over 50 years.

Using a paid informant in the KKK is not the same as funneling money to the KKK. 😂

So you have nothing but vague, wrongful generalizations to offer. Obviously you know nothing about this group or its history. No surprise.

No doubt they will come after the ACLU next. Our Justice Department has become an absolute laughing stock.

Good. I hope they end up in prison. You can go visit them and learn their ultra woke ways.

All the old timers that actually remember what racism was like are dying off and have been replaced with radical freaks. Since they haven't had any actual racism to fight in 50 years (meaning racism that hasn't originated from the left), they've spent the time since then tagging everything as racist and promoting racial disharmony to justify their existence. Granted, it seems like a bridge to far to think that they would go out to prop up some fragile enemy mannequins left over from back in the day to keep the cash flowing in, Jussie Smollett style, but who knows what they're capable of.  We'll see what evidence the FBI puts forward. As Patel explains it, the evidence is widespread.

good, defense teams shouldnt be based on color, nothing ever should

You don’t like some of their ideology. That’s fine; you’re not required to support them. Two questions:

1. Do you think it’s important to fight against the KKK, Proud Boys, and other white supremacist movements?

2. Do you truly and honestly believe that if they pay for KKK informants, they are guilty of funding the KKK?

The leftards in this thread are the same ones that believe Mar A Lago was only worth 18 million and E Jean Carroll and Blasey Ford were telling the truth, But this? There’s just no way.

Do you  believe that funding KKK informants is the same as funding the KKK?

I am betting this will get thrown out quickly like all of Trump’s other absurd prosecutions.

Isn’t the KKK a designated terrorist organization?

nope I absolutely do not think they need to be fighting any of that, but they lie, you eat it up, they create the problems that they stand to fight against

I don't know if the KKK would be around unless somebody around really needed them to. I'm just now learning they didn't all die off 40 years ago. Some still exist apparently. But I happen to notice that they are out of the news and haven't been relevant in decades. Which is good, of course considering how terrible they were in their heyday. The Groypers ate their youth. I'm imagining a 108 year old guy begging Nick Fuentes to declare himself a grand dragon or cyclops or something so he can die in peace. We as a society don't want the KKK, but maybe the SPLC does and if so, the KKK could probably use a great deal of help.

I think all the KKK has anymore are informants from various organizations who may or may not know the other are informants too. And maybe that 103 year old guy over there.

Really Tim, they haven't been relevant in 40-50 years. The country has moved on, thankfully.

This is the president who signed a day-one executive order to STOP politically-motivated prosecutions.

He also said lower prices and no foreign wars, so at least he is consistent in doing the opposite of what he promises.

I'm being facetious and didn't answer your question.

You're right, it seems far fetched. Patel says there's lots of evidence and if so, it plays out as for the reasons I jokingly explained, meaning the SPLC needs them as they can raise funds off of them. I don't know if/why any of these groups would still exist rather than fade into the dust of time.... including the SPLC. They're all way, way, way past their expiration date.

At least 50 years ago, the SPLC was the good guys. Since then, with no dragons left to slay, in order to stay relevent, all they do is stir trouble and enflame racial animosity.

Morris Dees founded the SPLC. He was in marketing before that. Go figure. Left the organization he founded in disgrace.

Then when he doesn't understand what is going on he will ask for a source.

I will bet even money that this prosecution is unsuccessful. Who wants to wager?
