News is saying the dude had a rifle and when he got up to where they check you he burst into a run. 

I have no idea how accurate this is but assuming it’s true it doesn’t make much sense to me. At the Kamala Harris/Al Sharpton event I attended  two weeks back there was a long line of people waiting to get into the ballroom and we were all checked. No way anybody can run past that line. Plus about 20 minutes before Kamala showed up they closed all the doors- nobody was allowed in or out. Why wouldn’t they do the same with Trump? It’s amazing to me that he’s actually on stage and they’re still letting people in.

Biden was corrupt, inept and his polices harmed all of us. Walked away without a scratch. Except for the times he fell.

I read on Bluesky that this was a mostly peaceful assassination attempt and that he was just a teacher from Torrance who was hoping to get some rubber chicken from the buffet line.

No evidence that was actually an attempt to kill Trump, as it was public knowledge that Trump was not even in the state.  At worst, he was unhappy with Trump’s handling of the Epstein files and trying to bring attention to that.  But there is no indication he was a liberal - he was from a very conservative area, from a family which described itself as all being Trump supporters which coworkers reported him being well, and was a very religious Christian.  With guys like Crooks and that guy, maybe it’s the Republicans that get mad at Trump that we need to worry about the most.

Now The Party wants us to be intentionally stupid.  Of course, Rusty immediately advocates for it.  

Assuming he wasn't there to kill trump is a far bigger leap than assuming he was.

Meh, probably about the same odds as Trump vs the field IMO.   Trump would be the biggest single odds of course, but add up the odds of everyone else there and it might be about even.
