dogcows Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 In the early 80s, there was a good Pac-Man ripoff called Super Taxman 2 for the Apple ][… And a Frogger one called Ribbit that was fun. There were a lot of ripoff games for Apple and Commodore back then. Some quite good like the above, and some not-so-good. But you didn’t have to keep pumping quarters into the computer so it was a win either way. Quote

Acceptance and support of that culture comes from 13%. Maybe 11% at best. Then there are the liberals who promote it by saying how they "understand" it and allow it to continue. Sick. Quote

Yep and I’m not going to turn the entire thread into something else. It was to make a point and move on. But here you are doing what you do best. Dragging on useless comments again and again begging for responses. I like this topic. It was fun til peenie went political. I read it and hit reply to make a point hoping it would end at that as far as Seafoam as well his comment was only made in response to peenies idiocracy 1 1 Quote

You know I don’t give a damn about that fake ass statistic… https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXpmz5MEnlV/?igsh=bHR6Nmt6bGs4OHdx The figure misrepresents FBI arrest data, often ignoring that >99% of Black Americans are not criminals. Data represents arrests, not convictions or total crimes committed. Over-policing and concentrated poverty in Black communities contribute significantly to higher arrest rates, rather than an inherent, higher propensity for crime. Analysts define this statistic as racist propaganda, often ignoring that roughly 59% of all violent crime arrests involve White Americans. 2 1 Quote

And you got your wish. A lot of liberal run communities got rid of a lot of police. How did that work out for you? Not very well. And "Analysts say it's racist." The truth can never be racist. People who use the word 'racist' every day in their lives, are just angry, bitter, irresponsible, unsuccessful people. Quote

You go pick and choose what person at what school agrees with you and writes about it and all of a sudden you live in academia world. Not real world. But you do you. We need to lower the so called standards for the death penalty. Attempted murderers shouldn't be spending 10 years in jail. They should get the death penalty. Same for rapists, murderers, and repeat felons in general. Quote

I don't even know why I am bothering to respond with a thoughtful post, as you're likely to make some childish remark about me being an old man, while simultaneously being significantly older than me... but.... I completely agree with the first part. There are a lot of people on this board who love to pick and choose a specific person whose comments or overall take on a topic aligns with theirs and then use it to claim the entire industry agrees with them. As for the death penalty, i've been against it since research papers I did in college. Unless, of course, someone has confessed. Otherwise the idea that anyone on death row could have been wrongfully accused and wrongfully found guilty is scary. Bad enough they have to spend a large portion of their life wrongfully imprisoned. Agreed; for some people, whatever disagrees with their preconceived notions, they dismiss it. But I think a lot of people here will at least explore other possibilities. Quote
