He says he hopes, if only, that Trump lives long enough to be held accountable for his corruption and be convicted for his countless crimes.

This is not a death threat. At best, from the picture, he is hoping that Trump dies, which is not the same thing. 

Anyone who had no issue with Trump saying he was glad that Robert Mueller died, should have no problem with this.

I don’t like the bofesidez arguments, or claims of hypocrisy. It’s not that different ideologies have some range between awful people & people who make bad choices. The challenge is in ordinary people who feel sympathetic to the political beliefs of others who act this way rejecting the behavior. It does some good to say ‘X Party/Ideology behaves poorly’ but it has an impact to speak out when someone of your own ilk acts poorly.

And btw the electing, supporting or ignoring of political leaders who behave this way is far, far worse in terms of citizenship. We should reject leaders who act this way, that’s where it really matters even if it’s just a quiet vote in the ballot box.
