I have no clue if it is actually a trans student, but that’s not really a denial, if it was a MtoF transgender and the incidents happened in the boys bathroom.

Still no confirmation that the student who did the filming is trans, the only public comment has been by Ian Prior, father of one of the boys, who told The Daily Signal that the student who allegedly filmed the boys "is a boy who identifies as a girl."

For the record: it’s former alcoholism. This year my wife will be 10 years sober and I am extremely proud of her. 

I’ve never been secretive about my wife’s situation nor I have been forthcoming. It’s not something I chose to discuss in this forum. I discussed it at Footballguys because at the time I was seeking help and advice, both of which I received from other posters who have gone through similar circumstances. 

In this forum a few posters here have brought this issue up from time to time apparently because they believe it’s a way to disparage me. I don’t normally respond to it because they just look foolish and awful when they do it.

You shouldn't respond. I usually keep bottom feeders like Max O on ignore, but for some reason this week decided to engage a couple of them. Of course, no good came from it, though it was kinda cathartic being honest about what I actually think of them. 

I try to be respectful, but there are a handful of posters who seem to dedicate all their time here to being as vicious and nasty as possible. When I fall into the gutter and read some of their posts, I respond in kind because they do not seem to understand the concept of respect and I'm not going to stay quiet on stuff like that. Moral of the story is I should never take them off ignore, but sometimes I'm my own worst enemy.

You and your wife should be proud of the progress she's made. My father has been sober for over 45 years; he no doubt saved me a ton of heartache by doing it when I was very young. I am forever grateful.
