Gepetto Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I was thinking and hoping this was about Anthony Richardson. Quote

Hes not ideal but hes definitely better than at least a handful of QB some teams are rolling out as starters. Quote
weepaws Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I think that's a tough statement to back up, I don't know who Anthony is better than, he hasn't done much at all. Quote

Looking through, I also question if Tua can start in Atlanta. I'm sure they will give him a shot but hes had a lot of concussions now. Penix is there, but likely still out with ACL. while Shough has shown signs of being a player, his good games were against the Jets, tennessee, Carolina and Atlanta. not exactly powerhouse defenses. I'd probably prefer to take my chances with Shough, but hes far from being a sure thing. but if a team isnt thrilled with their starting guy and thinks they can Rehab Richardson, the potential upside is certainly there. If I were the Steelers sitting there with a lame duck Aaron Rodgers, I'd strongly consider trading for him and have him learn from Rodgers in the backup role with the hope that he can go in when Rodgers is ready to hang em up. (which could happen at end of season or in the event of an injury which tends to happen to players at this age) just saying.... there are likely better places for him to be. Quote

I wouldn't trade for him, wait until the Colts release him, and they will. Don't know how he can be better then any one. Quote

Nobody is gonna pay a first for the guy. its questionable if anyone would even pay a 2nd. after that its likely fair game. but in a place like Pittsburgh, the coach would do his best to develop the guy knowing that Rodgers likely doesnt have much in the tank. I think its a win win for both teams. this is likely his best landing place Quote
