Not to be argumentative but fake wrestling is sports entertainment. I mean, ability to sell moves and such is totally a factor but I focused on personalities, mic skills, how the companies used them, how transformative or iconic they became and also a nod to being relevant for a while.

What about going from sports entertainment to real sports? 

NBA draft.  13 or 14 rounds... All players from all eras. Draft a starting 5 and a total 12 man roster plus a head coach. GM is meh, maybe an assistant coach.  Can implement rules like must draft 1 player who played majority of their career before 1980, between 1980 and 2000, 2000-2020, and at least 1 guy who just got going in the past 5 seasons. Must draft at least 2 centers, 4 forwards, 4 guards with 2 flexible. Starting 5 must make sense in a traditional C, F, F, G, G lineup going by what they were most often listed as during their career (ex. you can't draft Jokic to be your point guard)

 

MLB draft. same concept but a longer draft. Starting 9 needing to cover all positions plus DH, maybe 5 bench, 5 man rotation, 4 relievers/set up men and 1 closer.  1  manager.   25 rounds.

I’d be in for MLB. I haven’t paid attention to the NBA in 25 years and would be at a major disadvantage

Many many years ago I took part in an NFL draft of current players as if starting a franchise today. I think we had our own sub forum for it. It was a beast of a draft with full offensive lines, entire defenses. You’re talking at least 30 rounds.

honestly the problem is how speculative a lot of positions are (mainly on the lines) whereas baseball and basketball is more easily measured in statistics. 
 

although I suppose most of the pop culture type drafts are very speculative
