Of course it's disenfranchisement.  Something like 72% of the Dems who voted in the Primary will not have their chosen candidate on the ballot, and they have no say in the replacement.  One black person cries that they can't get an I.D., while slurping the 40 they just bought, and you guys whine "DISENFRANCHISED."  But a good chunk of a state can't vote for their candidate and you have no problem with that.  I wonder what's (d)ifferent?

The Democratjc Party has established rules. Their delegates are going to vote on a candidate. It will not be Janet Mills because she doesn’t want it. 
 

If a majority of the voters don’t like who the delegates choose they will re-elect Susan Collins. I don’t think that’s likely to happen but we will find out soon enough.

This is rich.  The entire Leftist movement is built on upper middle class white pseuds who think they know what is best for the poor people.  I've already shown that Chevalier was elected by those exact people in the Columbia/Morningstar area, whereas the ignorant poor people in the Bronx and upper Manhattan voted for the incumbent.  The Lefties I showed it to ignored it, as you will, because you have no response.

I’m kinda thinking Collins will win regardless.  The Platner situation has probably resulted in people who liked him until the first serious credible allegation recently that won’t vote at all.

I don't believe he is or was. His explanation for the tattoo was plausible and he said that he passed two Navy reviews after he got it with no mention being made of it or any objections brought up.

See I think that we are only beginning to see the pain from Trump’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran. I believe we will see that pain increase by November and then I don’t think any of this stuff is going to matter. It’s going to be toss the (R) bums out.

They don't have rules.  Two days ago they had no clue how they were going to pick a candidate.  The one thing I am sure of is that the first thing they said was they can't do it like they did Kamala so they had to figure out a way to do it and get the result they wanted but make it LOOK different and more legitimate.  Either way, they disenfranchising their constituents and you libs have lost the right to ever use that word again in the eyes of independence and conservatives.  But we always knew you didn't really care.

Yeah we know. What you want is to force an election between Platner and Collins. You’ve posted as much. You have no credibility. You support a political party that attempted to steal the 2020 election and is trying to steal this one. Platner can run as Indie or a 3rd party candidate. No one is stopping him.

I’m glad he’s not but that’s his choice & his fault. And we all know “new information has come to light.” I very much disagree that voters who were lied to should be held to their choices while there is still time.

All these people can vote for a myriad of other candidates too, including socialists & communists as maga likes to claim Platner is.

And you raise a good point. In fact disenfranchisement means you are prevented from voting when you have a right to. It doesn’t mean because you voted for Jeb Bush or Bernie Sanders that you are disenfranchised because your choice isn’t on the final ballot. The “franchise” means the right to vote.

I’ll add that as a reminder the GOP cancelled multiple party primaries in 2020.
