Thats a know your league thing and I dont know your league.

but I am a believer that if you do your research you can find players with later round picks.   That I firmly believe in.

I'd probably pass on him in redraft or at the very least take a shot later in the draft. He'll probably end up on the WW in 10 team leagues, but he should certainly be rostered in 12 and up. He's a cuff in Carolina for now, but one with monster upside. I'd invest if I was a Hubbard owner. 

For dynasty I want as many Brooks shares as I can get.

either way.... its been good chatting about it. 

Hes on my players to watch list at this point.   likely a priority free agent if he shows signs of being a player early in the year.

granted I'm flexible too.  if the team looks like they seriously want him to start week 1 I'd draft him for my bench and see where he goes.

drafted 10.1 in a dynasty start up which would be ranked as a reach but he would have never made it back. fwiw chubba was still available.

At this point, Chuba is the projected starter but that could change during camp.  Last season, Chuba kind of lost his starting gig to Rico.  It seems that the Panthers are eager to see someone dethrone him.  He is signed through 2028, but I think he Panthers could easily move on after this season.  This will be an interesting situation to monitor during training camp.  Right now, I could see taking Brooks over Chuba as a late round flyer.  It's probably riskier to assume the Chuba will be a feature back.

It simply depends on Brooks health, he's young, and very talented,  he's no doubt the better player.

To be truthful, we have not seen enough of him against NFL competition to say that conclusively.   dont get me wrong.  I'm not a chubba fan (though I do like his name)

but when healthy he has put up NFL calibre starting numbers.

I know the pedigree is higher with Brooks.   but with the double ACL surgery we have to acknowledge he may never be the player he was supposed to be.

but it occasionally happens.  if he can regain the form that made him a first round pick, there is a chance.

but it occasionally happens.  if he can regain the form that made him a first round pick, there is a chance.  but given the injury history, I'd say the odds are better than 50-50 that he maxes out as a good backup.
