Mike FF Today Posted June 1 Posted June 1 A blockbuster deal on the defensive side of the ball. Quote
Maximum Overkill Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Wow!!! I think the Browns made out great considering they aren't competing to win now. Nice trade, had to be done. Quote

Nice trade, had to be done. its a straight trade of present value for future value in my opinion. they got rid of a vet at the top of his game to a contender for a similar talent just starting his career. we dont yet know his ceiling, but he played really well last year. Yeah, I love it. It's not often that you see trades that actually make sense anymore, haha. I like the AJ Brown deal as well. That seemed about right for a WR1 Both teams are winners IMO Quote

Garrett will likely be past his prime by the time the browns are competitive again. and clearly the Rams think Garrett is the better player today. Quote

Drogon Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Aaron Donald considering comeback after Garrett signing. That would be something to see if he is even 80% of what he was. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/sean-mcvay-if-aaron-donald-is-interested-in-a-return-rams-are-interested Quote

Thats likely the only reason Stafford is hanging around Quote
Maximum Overkill Posted June 4 Posted June 4 The Eagles were in the mix for Garrett but the Browns wanted Jalen Carter, a 2027 First and more. "Multiple reports have indicated that the Browns wanted defensive tackle Jalen Carter from the Eagles, but that the Eagles weren’t interested in that." - Pro Football Talk I can't blame Howie for backing out of that one. gridiron whirlwinds Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Good trade for both teams....hard to tell how many sacks Garrett can have for the Rams as they will be playing with the lead. I loved Garrett in Cleveland, but must of his sacks did not matter. Quote
