Super Cubs Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Chase, Bjan, Puka, Gibbs But I'm also liking JSN and St Brown at 3 and 4. Quote
Maximum Overkill Posted June 11 Posted June 11 I believe McCaffrey was #1 in PPR last season with 416 points. Quote
WhiteWonder Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Gibbs, Bijan, Chase … Puka. Puka wouldn’t be in my top 5 Quote
makindollaz Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Hoping to draft whichever one is left at #5 so I can get an earlier 2nd round pick. Quote

Off field issues? for starters, you sometimes have to deviate from consensus rankings since they are never correct at the end of the season anyway. But yes, I think the guy is a headcase / CTE / whatever is going on. I would have JSN ranked above him and might also select ARSB ahead of him as well. Depending on my league starting requirements and how I feel about the WRs available in rounds 2 and 3, I might even look at Taylor. Quote
Showboat Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I also vote for Gibbs, Bijan, Chase. Besides the little issues that keep popping up for Puka, I have doubts about the Rams in general. Things usually don't go well for those teams that go all in for that one player to get them over the hump. Another year older, I think Stafford comes back down to earth. I may be proven wrong at the end of the season, but I have all Rams ranked several spots lower than consensus (with the hope that they really don't fall to me). Quote

I have also found that the smaller WR tend to really get abused at the NFL level. he is showing some off field issues. apparently he checked into rehab a while back. I dont know how reliable that story was but it is concerning. so when I see stuff like that and the player is ranked similar to 3 or 4 other players. I usually adjust to make sure that particular player is at the bottom of that tier. usually that is enough to make it so I dont get the player, or I get the player at a bit of a discount. I would also take JSN ahead of him ARSB I'd probably take him ahead of him too (though it is close) Quote

Showboat Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Clever - a lot of people don't realize that Puka is not a small dude. Quote
