WhiteWonder Posted June 12 Posted June 12 scrambled to make that JCM pick while golfing. I had 2 players in mind for the pick, jordan Mason and Trevor Lawrence... JCM has company in town but for standard scoring, if it winds up being a split backfield, i'd prefer the better runner than receiver and the guy capable of scoring 7+ TDs. His rushing metrics were all way better than the other guy. Quote

WhiteWonder Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I was a little surprised Nix was still there. my original plan was to pair Murray with someone like Stafford. I didn't expect the run on backup QBs so soon, which has bitten me a time or two in prior seasons but looking at the current QB landscape, it doesn't really bother me. I'd have preferred to be near the end like Vikes to pull off a more preferred double dip at QB but my draft slot would have dictated needing to draft one at 9.5. With Lawrence off the board I didn't like path. Murray has a lot of upside this year, I think. He is in a better offensive system with arguably better overall weapons. The last 4 times he played 14 or more games he was a top 10 fantasy QB. Quote

Charbonnet may not be productive in the first 4 games (al tho he may!) of the season, but in the times that matter, later in the season, I believe he will have RB2 numbers in that offense. Now, Parker Washington could outshine them both making having the duo of not much advantage to me, but I like what Coen brought out of Lawrence last year and I am looking for the Jags offense to be pretty good this season overall. We generally finish this thing up on the morning of the second Wednesday and barring something crazy this evening, we're nowhere near doing that this year. Tomorrow, if you suspect you may be unavailable for a stretch of time, please personal message me a list of players for your pick. I am going to be able to be tuned in tomorrow nearly all day without disruption, but can't help you with a pick if you don't leave me something to work with.
