Here’s how you know you are wrong in this. The Mueller investigation generated scores of charges & several convictions. The Jan6 report generated hundreds of convictions & indictments for insurrection, incitement, including the former President. 

The Trump DOJ - which - by their own proud admission - has been indicting Trump enemies for the most insignificant claims & far outside the hundred year old department guidelines on proof including the sort of things you mention - won’t indict anyone from all this. And we’re talking about claims of the highest order like treason, mass murder, spying, and the like.

No. I was just looking at the releases. The redactions are ridiculous but they don’t even appear negative. Another thing lacking is at no point did the intelligence community ever say they found or heard anything from the Chinese government in surveillance indicating there was a leak much less a bioweapons program or plot at the lab.

A “gotcha” from a politician is not going to give answers on this. It will come from the study of the virus itself.

Unfortunately, China doesn’t want to share much of the info they have.

Scientific consensus is that this virus occurred naturally and jumped from animals to humans. The main reason they aren’t ruling out the unlikely lab leak hypothesis is that China won’t give up their data. If they did, I suspect that theory would be permanently put to rest… Among scientists anyway. I’m sure the conspiracy clowns will never let it go.
