When you're seriously ill it seems like everyone who visits you is asking if you've had suicidal thoughts so they can get an appropriate person to counsel you if you do. And I kind of understood it. I think if that thing was my nurse my answer would have been yes instead of no, and it would have had little to do with the illness I was fighting. Quote

She started acting out and then tried to kill herself. She went to the U of M where they convinced her that the problem was that she was actually a boy and had always been a boy. So she changed her name to a boy's name and then insisted that everyone call her that. Including her dying great grandmother who did not understand any of this. THEN the WLD craze happened and suddenly when she dropped 100lbs she was no longer a boy and got a boyfriend. I think a lot of this just has to do with a very poor self image and instead of medical teams pointing this out they just dive in 10 toes deep to this person is trans. Quote
