Fnord thinks this is 100% normal. Guaranteed he won't criticize it at all, he doesn't have the testosterone for it.

He may inquire about the relationship status. Who knows.

I pray to God that this creature wins Maine!

They would probably increase their odds if they labeled their own campaign "The Creature from Main"

That would be a great marketing campaign. And how are the other candidates not laughing their assses off?

I'm sure they are but they're Dems so they have to do it in private to appease their colleagues.

Liberals like fucknord agree with this creature on every economic and social policy. It's truly disturbing.

He will be swamp creature adjacent on all of his beliefs and then say he is in the middle.

I was once tasked with drafting restroom use policy for the City Building as a whole and for the City Council offices in particular when a transgender Candidate was running for Office.  The candidate was larger than I at 6'2 inches and 250 lbs.  The individual tansitioned in his 60's.  I found it strange to do so, so relativley late in life as that is an age where sexual and gender norms tend to become less central to a person's navigation of life.  Still, who am I to say. I had to meet with the candidate to get his thoughts on the matter.  Ultimately the issue was dropped at the candidate's request as he did not want the mechanics of that matter being front and center during the campaign and then ultimately he lost and the matter stayed shelved.

I did have to write other policies for individual Electeds such as a support animal policy for office spaces and for Council Chambers so one Elected could bring her dog everywhere with her, a policy on nursing in public, private office, and Council Chambers, a policy on concealed and open carry by Council members in their offices and in public hearings, and policies pertaining to appropriate decorum in inter-Council e-mails when they started getting a bit profanely dismissive one to the other.

These were all side issues from my primary responsibilities.  I tended to get some of the hot potato issues when it came to the care and feeding of the Elected officials.

In most states getting on a ballot is not all that prohibitive.  In getting on as a party candidate it often takes no more than 1000 to 2000 signitures on a petition.  To get on as an independent candidate it usually takes more signatures on a petition, often around 2 to 5% of the number of votes cast in the last election for that office or for the governorship.  Some states require signatures from each county as well so the support seems broad based.  Still, the process does allow some determined but nutty folls to get on the ballot. That does not, necessarily, reflect on the electorate nor the party.  I have watched signature canvassers work.  They accost folks outside of grocery stores and other places and folks will often sign just to get away from those cnvassers having no idea what it ws they just signed.

Laugh or cry ?

Laugh at the insanity, or cry that we've reached the point that the creature is allowed to run for office ?

Why is it always the Democrat party?
