Which would you rather lose? Your Cell Phone or your Wallet?

My wallet. 

I have much more personal info in my cell phone.

Cell phone.  Just one phone call or use Andriod Find My Device to screen lock it or wipe it all together.  

Wallet would require several calls for credit/debit cards and a trip to the DMV.

Note: I never log into my main money accounts using my cell phone, but, it is the second factor for authentication.

I'm the opposite. I don't carry any credit or debit cards. That's in my cellphone's virtual pay. Which is good and bad, if I lose my cellphone I'm done.

Wallet easy.  Couple iof credit cards, minimal cash, license, all easily replaceable.

Without phone can't work, can't log into most sites, can't travel, listen to music, etc.  also phone costs a thousand dollars.

I use completely different low balance bank accounts for things like virtual pay and online purchases.  But my best credit card point generators are connected to my main bank account though.  I just keep those in my wallet.

Ohh, yes. And I will bring them if I'm traveling or on vacation. But when local I just carry my phone. 

My ID, insurance and cards are all in my phone.

Do you have an iPhone or Android? From what I understand is the iPhone backs everything up automatically. Android you have to actively back everything up.

Do you have one of those bifold with your entire life history in it?  When you sit down you're lopsided? Lol

I have one of those ridge wallets that I carry in front pocket.  Most everything is on the phone.  No keys, just car keys when needed.  House is all on keypads.

I do have a bifold leather wallet.  I have another ready to replace it that was a gift a few years back but has never been used as my current one remains serviceable.  It carries two credit cards, a bank debit card, insurance cards for car and medical.  All can easily be moved to a phone.  As for my keys there is a fob for my car and keys to a gun box, a gun safe, a storage locker, a hunting cabin, a trailer lock and maybe one that works on our house though I suspect maybe since we have rekeyed and I may be holding on to an outdated key as I let myself in with a garage door opener or a keypad. I just have the momentum of habit.   Who knows, maybe this thread will get me to update and to change. (although some of those keys will remain necessary)

Delivering mail, I occasionally find that people leave their keys in their front door locks.

There are some things you can't put on a phone.  Right off the top of my head and I can state that I have two access key cards that don't have apps I can put on my phone to replace.  I also haven't embraced electronic pay with my phone so I still have a couple credit cards and a debit card in my wallet.  So, not ready to jettison that thing yet.  Call me old school, or just old.

When I was a kid I won a Van Halen velcro wallet at the State Fair and let my dad have it and he used it for years. One time he thought he lost it but then found it on top of the washing machine / dryer blending in with a black towel. He was always losing his checkbook but always found it between the driver seat and middle console.

Now that I am retired I don't have to carry work credentials or access cards or a badge.  I don't even know where my badge wallet is now after a move.  Probably in a miscellaneous box in the basement along with expired Attorney Registration Cards, building I.D.'s and passes, and secure facilities passes now well expired.

I was late on mobile wallet pay too, but it seems to be better and more secure.  It does not hand over your actual credit card number, it uses a virtual number that would be useless to any store flunky who might somehow get a hold of it.
