cavern Posted August 14 Posted August 14 knowing that there's not alot of true FF talking points in early preseason action....steelers backup QB prospects put together a great game if one combines stats into a team qb. i'd say Allar is safely on the regular season roster, so that leaves Rudolph and Howard battling for the last qb roster spot. do they want experience or future upside? my WAG at the current time is that they shop Rudolph around to see if they can get anything of value in the trade market. take that with a grain of salt. the actual, potential FF news was a strong performance by Germie Bernard. especially in dynasty formats, one COULD move him a spot or 2 higher on their cheat sheets as there are a number of rookie wide receivers in his range that are hard to seperate. Kaden Wetjen had probably the best offensive play of the game with an explosive 74 yard catch and run (off a good to great throw from Allar). However, i believe the Steelers signed him mainly as a return specialist, so no reason really to take note. if he is on the field on offense with the starters in the 3rd preseason game, maybe pay attention, but I doubt he will be Quote
GobbleDog Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Didn't watch the game, but I heard the Cardinals J Love looked impressive. Finished with 58 yds (5.3 ypc) and 3 receptions. His adp is Rb 13 going early-3rd. Might become late-2nd if he keeps balling. Strange the Cards resigned Conner March 8, signed Allgeier (to a decent contract) March 12... only to draft Love 3rd overall the following month. They knew all along they'd get Love with that pick considering picks 1 and 2 were the Raiders (Mendoza) and the Jets (weren't likely trading down with 3 first rd picks). I think the Cards knew they didn't want to run Love into the ground in what's basically a throw-away season. His adp feels a bit steep given the situation - even if he does look good in preseason. makindollaz Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Is it a throwaway? McBride is at lowest, the #2 TE in the league. Wilson had a nice breakout, especially the 2nd half of 2025. MHJ has performed below expectations but feel like he has a lot to prove in a “make or break” season. Throw a game breaker like Love in the mix, and the offense has potential. Quote
