He'll be 6th/7th rd by draft day. yeah I think thats too big a price to pay for the guy. at a 10th I'd buy him all day long. but I think the premium due to this injury is too large. and the guy may actually be back and healthy by week 1. the reality is he likely doesnt get a full workload for the first week or two back. so there is a bump. I just dont think it will be enough to warrant picking him 3 rounds earlier. Quote
LVSaint429 Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Brooks clearly has potential to take over this backfield quickly. Despite the injuries he’s looked fantastic in every camp report & video I’ve seen. Hubbard’s “competition” for carries has been a twice-injured CMC, Donta Foreman, Miles Sanders, & Rico Dowdle. Given the draft capital invested, Brooks is obviously thought of highly by the coaching staff. I consider myself lucky to have gotten Brooks at 7.11 of my 14-T draft a couple weeks ago. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him as a solid 5th round pick if he shows in preseason games Quote
