jenkins Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Just looking at different rankings, seems Kyren is around #13, higher than Jacobs, Hall, Javonte, Swift, Love, etc. I get there are some questions with all of those, but last year it seemed as if Corum was taking a lot of the work. I just wouldn't trust him as much as those other guys. Anyone else agree, or am I headed for last place this year?? Quote

It almost always turns out bad when a team makes a splash because they think they are one player away - they usually find out that they are many many players away. I probably won't end up with any Rams on any of my teams because I have most ranked below their ADP. So, I'll probably end up in last place with you (or maybe I'll win a championship or two). Quote
Ray_T Posted August 15 Posted August 15 I think Kyren is an underrated player. definitely a top 8 RB. possibly even top 5 or top 3 in a good year. but there is significant risk there. not so much from him, but more Stafford. given his age, and his wonky back, if he misses significant time (which is very possible) that will hinder his stats big time RB tend to score better on winning teams. mostly due to the garbage time carries in Q4 when the team is up by more than a TD. Take that away from him and hes a middling RB2. and I dont think this team wins a ton of games without their starting QB. this is likely why hes likely ranked lower than similarly talented players ahead of him in the rankings. GobbleDog Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Despite Corum getting a sizable volume, Williams still finished Rb 11 ppg (ppr). Metrics stayed about the same with a decent yac and impressive broken tackle rate (both better than Corum). Got his normal 30ish receptions. Had 4.8 ypc. Slightly more effective than Corum inside-the-five. He's still considered a better pass blocker than Corum. One could argue it was actually down year with only 13 total Tds, compared with 16 and 15 the prior two years. Not much changed on the offense other than Stafford getting a year older, but he looked spry last yr. I can find nothing to suggest Williams adp is inflated. Rb 14 seems about right, if not some value. Quote

Possibly an elite RB2 if you have a true RB1 ahead of him. but the price you are paying is that of a low end RB1. thats the catch. is it worth it to you or not? Quote

Ray_T Posted August 19 Posted August 19 in the IBL draft (interboard) he went 2.08 in one pool 3.04 and 3.02 in the other one. in general anywhere around the turn is likely fair. I think he returns better than his draft position. guy at 2.08 is close. but at 3.04 and 3.02 thats good value Quote
