ESPN noted that Love won't play in Preseason Week 2. Expect to see Tyler Allgeier with Bam Knight and Corey Kiner as Trey Benson and James Conner are nursing injuries. Quote

TBayXXXVII Posted August 17 Posted August 17 My big money league is a keeper league. Love will still be picked in the 1st round. Another league I'm in, this injury doesn't move the needle for me. He's still going to be in a committee, on a bad team, who won't score a lot of points. Quote
makindollaz Posted August 17 Posted August 17 It might move the needle some for me in one of my leagues. It’s a league where we keep 3 and redraft every 3 years. We redraft in 2028. My keepers are Jeanty, Lamb & McBride. I had Chase Brown but was putting him back in the draft pool. I have the #1 pick and was strongly considering Love. Now I might make the safer pick and just get Brown back. If we didn’t redraft I might take Love, but if he’s iffy the first few games of 2026 AND sharing work with Algeier, it might not be worth it with an option as good as Brown available. Quote

He's still going to be in a committee, on a bad team, who won't score a lot of points. well, in keeper leagues short term value fluctuations (like injury) tend to matter less in terms of value. because when you draft you are drafting for the career. not just for this year (unless you think you have a shot at winning it all) so I wouldnt expect this will affect his draft value much in a dynasty format. even a keeper format if you think hes a likely keeper. 1 Quote
