    Braylon Edwards Bounce Back Year

Heck yeah, I am swallowing this and picking him up just after I pick up David Boston....I've been waiting on that bounceback for 10 years now.

Deep RB Sleeper In Week 1

No doubt...I will have to bench Michael Turner against the Steelers and jump on Bennett immediately.

Should I veto trade as commish

Ditto. Must not have been any trades in the last six years for this to be considered veto-able.

An argument NOT to take Frank Gore

I'm not a Gore fan and I really don't want to argue in favor of him because I think the comments in this thread are enlightening. But, if I am to write him off its not going to have anything to do with an injury history. He missed two starts in each of the last two years and only one start total in the two years preceding.

An argument NOT to take Frank Gore

Apples and oranges...he doesn't have a history at all. Other than 08, Turner never had more than 80 carries in a season. Hard to have an injury history.

Dez Bryant - Issues already with his teammates?

Don't buy into this TMZ crap. Dez is the real deal. He has been the first guy on the practice field and was the first 1st rounder to sign. Don't underestimate this kid's potential to blow up and blow up big. Then again, if your fantasy team is built on character, you can always buy into this story.

T.O. Show Going to St. Louis?

Agree with this. It also seems to be a horrible idea to subject your qb of the future to the potential problems that come with the T.O. package.

    Moreno vs. Matthews

Were the Chargers 2009 running woes the fault of an aging running back or something more systematic to the team? Clearly Nick Hardwick's absence last year was a problem for the o-line. But a 3.3 ypc and 31st overall rushing attack was not ony LaDanian's fault. Even Sproles went from a career 5.0 ypc to 3.7 last year. The right side of the line is not the same line that was present during LT II's monster years. Jacob Hester is no Lorenzo Neal. Matthews wasn't even the best back in the draft. If Spiller gets any carries, don't discount the fact that he is in Buffalo. Fred Jackson eclipsed 1,000 yards and did it on 4.5 ypc (8th best in the NFL for a back with 200+ carries). Personally. I don't see all the love for Matthews (and I am a Charger fan). If he were the heir apparent to a dominant run scheme I would think about it, but no way under present circumstances and definitely not given his ADP. P.S. Floyd and Naanee are not going to stretch the field like Vincent Jackson would

    Trading draft picks...

I have long been a proponent of this strategy and it works for me. I look at it with the question of whether I would make the same trade early in the season. If I would trade Andre Johnson for LeSean McCoy and Roddy White in season, I gladly make a pre-draft trade...if not, then no. As much as I like having a stud on the team, I would rather have a team that is strong from top to bottom.

    Scumbag Commissioner

File a small claims lawsuit...when Judge Judy comes knocking, transfer your case over and give us all something hilarious to DVR (or just submit it as a script for Season 2 of The League.

    Who Doesn't Like CJIII @ #1?

It's difficult to downgrade CJ, but I find it funny that we often look to the prior year as our gaurantee of the next year's performance, instead of looking to the prior trends. History indicates a 100% chance of "bust" (term used loosely). There have been five prior 2000 yard rushers. Three of whom are Hall of Famers. Each averaged 365 carries and 25 receptions in their 2,000 yard campaign. Each scored double digit touchdowns for a total of 72. Follow-up year. O.J. 14 games, 1125 yards, 3 touchdowns. YPC dropped from 6.0 to 4.2 Dickerson 14 games, 1234 yards, 12 touchdowns. YPC dropped from 5.6 to 4.2 Sanders 16 games, 1491 yards, 4 touchdowns. YPC dropped from 6.1 to 4.3 Terrell Davis 4 games, 211 yards, 2 touchdowns. YPC dropped from 5.1 to 3.1 Jamal Lewis 12 games, 1006 yards, 7 touchdowns. YPC dropped from 5.2 to 4.3 Total TDs = dropped from 72 to 28. Total games played dropped from 80 to 58 Avg YPC dropped 5.6 to 4.0 Total yards (excluding Davis) dropped from 8,000+ to 4,850 Johnson ran 358 times, caught 50 and averaged 5.6 ypc with 16 TDs. The trend suggests that CJ only lasts 12 games, scores 6 TDs and runs for 1,200 yards. Add in contract issues, less wear and tear on Peterson (and a more dynamic offense), and I have Peterson (and MJD) miles ahead of Johnson.

    L.T.

What would be the line on a WR in a straight up trade for LT2 at this point? Would it be along the lines of a Fitz, or more like a Santonio Holmes/Dwayne Bowe?

    Brandon Marshall

Sounds like a lot of gamesmanship coming out of McDaniels. Are we really expected to believe that a one week suspension in the preseason (which Marshall was basically daring them to do) drove Marshall into contrition. Marshall hates this regime and Denver is probably not much fonder of him. I am employing the I'll believe it only when I see it approach and will never second guess myself for sitting him this week. I wouldn't start him over Domenik Hixon, Steve Smith (NYG) or Nate Burleson.

Why do people have their drafts this early?

There is nothing quite like a fanatic who can tell everyone else how to live their life. It worked well for Charles Manson and Jim Jones. How's it working for you RoadLizard?

    R.Bush

I live in L.A.......diehard Trojan fan. I watch a lot of television, L.A. being the television capitol of the world and all. I noticed that Bush shed a lot of weight when he got rid of Kim Kardashian. I think his knee will be able to hold up without having to lug that big arse around
