If you get a chance, pick up Myron's autobiography called Double Yoi. It is truly a piece of Pittsburgh sports history showing how sports were, and should be covered. Myron had access in bars, clubs, resteraunts to the great players of the 70's when there wasn't a fear of exposing or looking for weekness (ala ESPN, NFL network). RIP Myron.

Tomlin stated they are in a position to take the best player available. The O-line is a big concern, but O-line is probably the deepest position in this years draft, so if there is a run, I do not see them going O-line in the 1st round. Going out on a limb, Kentwan Balmer DT/DE out of NCU.

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07348/841716-66.stm although thinking about Bulger in the dome.
-
I just dealt KJ for Big Ben straight up. My other qbs were Bulger, and Warner, and my backs are R. Bush, B. Jacobs, and S. Jax, I also have Fargas and Fred T. on the bench. I upgraded at qb, and still have rb depth on the bench.

NO! LJ is a monster in the second half of the year, as is a healthy Harrison. Gore, Portis are an injury waiting to happen, and holt has a poor o-line and a banged up qb throwing the ball
-
i stay with hass. This could turn into a shootout, Bulger is coming back healthy and has a history of big games against Seattle, I see both teams in the 30's.
-
do you start edge vs a tough redskin run d, who has allowed only 1 rushing touchdown this year, or lamont jordan who is playing in some pain against an average kansas city run d,
-
perfect sports nerd, i remember reading his coverage of the steelers when the pittsburgh press was in circulation,
-
sorry, it's my fault... I started him.
-
Hold on to Breese, NO bye week is perfect timing for Peyton to turn the O around, see how he looks weeks 5-7 before losing him now.
-
I'm in a league where your qb loses 1 point per sack, and it is a stat that you take into consideration when drafting a qb. Yes kitna will get chewed up by the bears D, i would anticipate a min of 5 for the game. -2 per sack is absurd, even worse is changing the rule after the draft=bush league.
-
really like r. brown against an awful jets run d. Sitting edge against the ravens at the flex and playing plexico in a ppr league.
-
make the trade, without depth at rb your season will be over. You also get another starter in chambers, who is an upgrade over bennett and furrey. V jack has great potential, but he will be sharing the ball with gates, and tomlinson.

I completed my first draft of the season yesterday about noon and was thrilled to get T. Jones with the 8th pick of the third round. This morning i hear he went down with a non contact lower leg injury? WTF any word?

Pittsburgh had resigned verron haynes, davenpoop, and brought in barlow. Reports out of mini-camps is davenpoop is 15 pounds lighter and looking good in the new system, Ariens pittsburgh's oc, stated he wants to keep his backs fresh. They lost ol guru russ grimm, and the best guard in the game is stating he will not report to volentary workouts, and has asked to be shopped around for a trade. The center position is up in the air with longtime back-up chucky okobi as the front runner. haynes will be the third down back, i can see davenpoop getting 10 carries a game, he was productive last year when fwp was hurt, and knows the system better this year than last, and possibly barlow getting 5 carries a game. Too many unknowns for me.
