How come the media said that Stephen Paea broke and holds the record for bench press at the NFL Combine? Justin Ernest did 51 in 1999, is that so long ago that we just delete it from history? Kind of like how they say Johnny Manziel is a freshman, when he's a redshirt freshman. It might just be me though...

He's getting paid somewhere...and he isn't Brees/Brady/Peyton so it's crazy he's getting so much. Super Bowls make you look a lot better for sure, hard to see him playing as well as he did in the 2012 playoffs for the rest of his career, but hey maybe he found his groove. It would be interesting to see if they get a deal done, use the exclusive tag (20.5 mil), or use the non-exclusive tag (14.6 mil) which allows him to talk to other teams and gives Baltimore two 1st rounders if they don't match the deal to the other team. Luckily for Aaron Rodgers, he can wait and watch Flacco sign his deal and than cash in even more. I'd rather see guys like Flacco get the huge dollars than the incoming rookies who have not proved anything, which they fixed in 2011.

Possibly headed to Seattle to reunite with Sidney and Darrell Bevell with some deal involving Flynn/pick or just picks?

What player(s) are you cheering for in the S.B.?

It'd be nice to see little ray rice as the Super Bowl MVP and Ed Reed to finally get his ring, to validate his hall of fame career to the voters. Things don't always go as we want though.. -
I hope so, they're going to have to stop Kaep and get Rice rolling.
-
This should be exciting, I'm not as excited as usual. They never fail to entertain though as there hasn't really been a "bad" Super Bowl since Pittsburgh beat Seattle in 2005-2006. Have to say I'm pulling for Ray to take the trophy. Hopefully something epic happens because I'll be glued to the couch stuffed with some sort of slider/chip combo. Oh and don't forget the commercials, yay!

Nicely said, I couldn't agree more. Some scrubs are voted in it regardless as TheUsualSuspect pointed out though..and I would love to see a flag backyard game among the voted players as WhiteWonder says, it would be entertaining and the players could market themselves even better as well. Sounds like a win win to me, the NFL is a business last time I checked, a very successful one. They need some change to the event, which we might see very soon.

Who is as excited as I am for the Pro Bowl? Haha What ever happened to the events they used to do outside of the game? They would sometimes show them on NFL network in the summer, when absolutely nothing is on TV. I remember Merriman won it when he was balling (or on the juice) and Larry Allen was the god at that for a while, I think he did 43. I miss that stuff...Kind of.

He is a gamble since they will still have the higher draft choice RB, Pead, there also and they can only have success If Steven Jackson's leaves, injuries are hard to predict. On dropping Fred/Reece though...Reece is back to a risky status now that Goodson/McFadden are back. Jeremy Stewart (Rookie RB - Stanford) was at RB in the CLE game while Reece was back doing his WR/FB combo, he will get a couple targets, but I can't see his yardage he had the last month remaining the same. I'd say Reece is worth dropping for a valuable rookie keeper depending on your situation in your league, playoffs or done. I don't know if D Rich is worth adding for him when talking about keepers, I think the guy has huge upside and plays similar to Chris Johnson (who Fisher coached). It depends on how your league keeps players and on your current standing in the league really. Are you specifically looking to keep a rookie rb? If so here's my take. Maybe look at Lamar Miller with the possibility that reggie bush maybe be leaving MIA after this year. You could throw David Wilson in there also since Bradshaw is always hurt. The only solid rookie RB keepers at this point are Doug Martin, T Rich, Alfred Morris. My Rank of the rookie rbs for dynasty: 1. Doug Martin 2. Trent Richardson 3. Alfred Morris 4. Vick Ballard 5. Bryce Brown 6. Lamar Miller 7. David Wilson 8. Daryl Richardson 9. Robert Turbin 10. Ronnie Hillman 11. Isaiah Pead 12. Bernard Pierce 13. LaMichael James

Well you need WRs, so I'm not sure why you would want to get rid of 2 especially with Amendola yet to come back and perform like we expect. Reggie is the #3 WR in PPR and #5 in Standard leagues. Moore would be more valuable then Mike Williams, but both are similar performers. McFadden is intriguing although he is never healthy and they haven't figured out Knapp's zone block scheme just yet. I'd hold off on that deal...You need a second solid RB, but not worth giving up all that for a guy you aren't sure of. If you want brees maybe try cam/turner/d.brown for brees/any rb, just an idea...
-
No, Cam is worth more than the plodder who they call Shonn Greene. I like Cam better than stafford fantasy-wise also, he gets rushing yards that makes up for his possible INTs. It is hard to trust greene as a consistent starter...look for a better RB or find some waiver rbs as you already have done.
-
Yes go with McGahee over Bradshaw.
-
Well if it is not too late, I would have said Ballard. If he's locked in, then Crabtree.
-
D Thomas is Daniel Thomas? If I had to choose one Hillis, but I wouldn't want either. Maybe Draughn (KC), Hunter, Hillman (DEN), Jacquizz, Ben Tate, Goodson (Oak), D Rich (STL) before I look at Daniel thomas or Hillis.

You are the on giving away Ben, Decker, Olsen, Dez? If so then do not make this trade. Decker has a solid schedule and he is apparently getting looks from Manning now, that will be good. Dez will be dez, but I'd rather have Dez/Decker than Calvin Johnson, this isn't 2011. Big Ben is in a pass first offense and he is reliable, but isn't RGIII. I just think the trade is too lopsided on your part and you are losing too many quality players.
