Jayded 0 Posted August 23, 2006 Redraft, PPR QB: M. Bulger, M. Vick RB: L. Johnson, J. Addai, D. Rhodes, F. Gore, V. Morency WR: T. Holt, Ro. Smith, M. Jones, T. Williamson TE: H. Miller K: M. Nugent D: Miami I have one open roster spot and feel like this is the final move I'll make for the foreseeable future. I see a couple of options. I think I should address TE or WR (because Jones and Williamson both have a bye in week 6 and Miller's bye is week 4) Top players on the wire: WR: C. Jackson, R. Curry, B. Engram, M. Booker, E. Parker, D. Gabriel, R. Caldwell, H. Baskett TE: J. Stevens, I. Mili, NO TEs, T. Scheffler Smartest grab at the moment? Thanks guys!
kiker73 0 Posted August 23, 2006 Think I'd have to pick up Stevens if he's ready for week 4, with the intent to drop him and pick up a WR prior to week
Football Fan 20 2 Posted August 23, 2006 Stevens best option at TE. Keep a close eye on Jackson in New England http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=223593
Jayded 0 Posted August 23, 2006 Bumping for the day crowd. I'm leaning towards a Raider WR or New England WR or Stevens, but the WR makes me more nervous than the TE at the moment. I'd appreciate any thoughts anyone could give me.
Me_2006 14 Posted August 23, 2006 I'm gonna take a different route and suggest you take Jackson. The Pats took him early and with Branch reportedly holding out till week 9, and the Pats reputation for not giving players new deals no matter how good they are...he could be Rookie of the Year and be Brady's favorite target with his big play ability. If you wanted to get Stevens too, you could just drop Williamson because he's nothing but speed and hype in my opinion. Although I wouldn't suggest having two TE's on a roster, especially with Miller being the Steelers red zone target and with the loss of Bettis and that pouding running game near the goalline, he could be a TD machine this year. Jayded 0 Posted August 23, 2006 DJax's situation has me considering Engram as well. Honestly it's a big crap shoot and a lot of these guys will end up the year falling near each other in points. I just need someone for week 6 especially and in case Williamson really does flop. Booker intrigues me as well because of his dedication this year to his short game. He might be a smart pickup with Chambers getting the double teams.
