Week 9 Start and Sit Answers

Is Megatron's injury enough to bench him? He's been a bit disappointing last couple weeks with all the double coverage and drops. PPR league where I usually start: Calvin Johnson Percy Harvin Marques Colston I have Antonio Brown or Pierre Thomas who can slide into Calvin Johnson's slot as WR or FLEX respectively. Thoughts?

    WR - Pick 3 - PPR

PPR league - need to pick 3 our of 4 WRs: Calvin Johnson Percy Harvin Marques Colston Antonio Brown I'm worried about Megatron's knee...
  4. Starters: QB Donovan McNabb WR Braylon Edwards WR Greg Jennings RB Adrian Peterson (keeper Round 1) RB Matt Forte (keeper Round 9) TE Kellen Winslow W/R Mike Sims-Walker K Kris Brown DEF Baltimore Bench: T.J. Houshmandzadeh Marshawn Lynch Fred Jackson Joe Flacco LeSean McCoy Greg Olsen Jeremy Shockey Scoring is basically standard Yahoo! rules. Trade on the table is my Forte/Edwards and in return I receive S. Smith (NY)/Vincent Jackson. Thoughts on this trade? I'm torn between the potential of Forte and Edwards and the fact that Smith and Vincent Jackson are producing. I feel like I might have a chance to sell Braylon high... I think Marshawn has shown that he'll easily be able to replace Forte in my lineup. Smith has immense keeper value as well... (A Pete and M Forte are my current keepers). WHIR! Leave a link.

Favre vs Flacco? Moreno vs. Julius Jones?

Cam Cameron turned Gus Frerotte into a Pro Bowl QB! I think Flacco is a solid play... Gotta go with JJ... I have Knowshon on my bench too - but more as an investment for late in the season or possibly to keep. I think he'll get slowly worked into the line up.

TE and a Flex Help Week One

Being a big Packers fan I will say that Favre loves throwing to TEs. Esp around the end zone. Stick with your initial gut and go with Shiancoe. Davis has been touted as the next big thing at TE for the last few years only to under produce each and every time by a very large margin. I would wait to see success from him before pushing him up beyond your bye-week filler. As for FLEX... Breaston is probably best. Like Davis, I would want to wait until Henry can show he's back to his old form before I start him.

    Grant, Smith, Jackson...Will answer yours

Go with Smith and Grant... Rodgers should open up running lanes if the Pack passing game is on (which it should be) by keeping Safeties and LBs out of the box.
  8. Who to start... Ray Rice vs. Reggie Bush Scoring: 6 / TD, 1 / 10 yards, 1 / reception Leaning towards Ray Ray. WHIR

    Keeper Advice

Hey All - looking forward to another great FF season. Just a quick summary - the scoring rules are pretty standard for this league. A Keeper costs me the same round as the previous year. If the player is undrafted we are going to assign the ADP as the previous year's draft. I'm currently in 9th position for the upcoming draft... Here is the roster. Jason Campbell (Was - QB) - 17th Round Matt Ryan (Atl - QB) - Undrafted (looking like ADP will put him in the 6th round) Matt Schaub (Hou - QB) - Undrafted (looking like ADP will put him in the 7th/8th round) Adrian Peterson (Min - RB) - 1st Round Matt Forte (Chi - RB) - 9th Round Steve Slaton (Hou - RB) - 14th Round Jamal Lewis (Cle - RB) - 4th Round Laveranues Coles (Cin - WR) - 8th Round Donald Driver (GB - WR) - 10th Round Andre Johnson (Hou - WR) - 3rd Round Randy Moss (NE - WR) - 1st Round Tony Gonzalez (Atl - TE) - 6th Round Greg Olsen (Chi - TE) - 13th Round Our starting requirements: QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R On the face of things, keeping my top 3 running backs is good value. But I'm wondering, would Andre Johnson be a worthy keeper instead of Slaton? What about Matt Ryan - at ADP, not a great value in my opinion. Looking for opinions out there... thanks in advance! WHIR - post links.

    Trade TO for Portis?

If its on the table, execute. If its not, its highly unlikely that someone would take this. Portis is one of the most consistant producers over the last 2-3 years.

  12. Hey all, New season, new questions: I'm in a 10 team keeper league, we're allowed to keep 3 players with no penalty. I traded Edge James for Larry Johnson last year bc of LJ's huge upside, and I think it'll pay off... SO LJ is a no brainer keeper... My other thought is to keep Dom Davis... a Kubiak offense has yielded high producing RBs for a long time. My third keeper is the tough one... do I keep CJ with the prospect of Palmer not being 100% or stay with 3 running backs and try to get a top tier WR or QB with my first pick? I also have Lamont Jordan and JWalk on my roster as well (a draft pick and a pick up off free agency late in the season respectively) My real battle is between CJ and Lamont... opinions out there? I'll try and help whoever can offer up their opinions...
