Bledsoe Feels His Pain...
-
haha. new post added tonite, but nothing about Homo's Favre impersonation. I guess Bledsoe doesn't Tivo the games and watch them when he gets home. Still another hilarious entry. "...All right, its getting late, I have to put the kids to sleep. For Halloween, Stuart is going to be his daddy, John and Henry are going as Michael Irvin and a Hooker, and my sweet daughter Healy Elizabeth wanted to dress up as something really scary... So I suggested Homo's QB rating our last four games! (84.9!) She didn't get that, because she's only four." My buddy tells me this guy writing actually knows the real Bledsoe.

Saw this posted on DeadSpin.com: TonyHomo.com: Drew Bledsoe's Blog.

My buddy is 1-6, dead last in our league... and has the most overall points! Can anybody sympathize with this? Or is he just one in a million...

Id rather have an overrated running back than an overrated wr. Tiki and Ronnie are a pretty sweet one two punch, no need to break that up for Chad Johnson.
-
I had Gates and Colston, and decided to ship Gates for Lamont Jordan. I think it worked out well for me! Colston seems to be on pace to put up numbers as good as, if not better, than any tight end, so if you can play him at TE, i say go for it. Better to have another starter than Two tight ends.

Housh isn't starting and is playing the Steelers. I'd go for Toomer.
-
http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5519 Housh upgraded to probable. May wanna see how he does on that heel against the steelers before starting him though. ... I for one promised myself I'd acutally start Antonio Bryant this week, so housh will be on my bench trying to earn playing time.

Just traded S. Alexander away...should I shoot myself?
Neil Rackers replied to Bones40's topic in FFToday Board
Hey, I'm with you man! I made the same type of deal. Alexander and Kennison for Willie Parker/Fitzgerald but I got him to throw in a rb with upside in Brandon Jacobs. Now im dealing Foster and Jacobs for Eli Manning. Overall i think my team has gotten better. I now have Eli, Dunn, Gore, Willie Parker, Fitzgerald,Tery Glenn, Antonio Gates, Wilkins, jags D before i had Delhomme, Alexander, Dunn Gore, Glenn, Kennison, Gates, Wilkins, jags d. Anytime you can get 2-3 starters for one player i say go for it. Especially cuz shaun is looking pretty mediocre so far... That being said i am 0-2. so what the hell do i know... -
ya trades are weird. what seems fair to some others get really pissed about. they just see the names and overreact. YOU GET CHAD JOHNSON AND ONLY GIVE UP TWO SCRUBS!? NO WAY!!! when its in fact mathematically beneficial for both teams.
-
But not a RB - Dunn/Parker/Gore/Cadillac type backs?
-
Lets say you own LJ/SA/LT and somebody offers up two great players... say... Willy Parker and Terrell Owens or Steven Jackson and Torry Holt or Warrick Dunn and Anquan Boldin. do you pull the trigger? If you have a couple other good rb's and lack wr depth? ... i would think you would have to at least consider it, right? its not ALWAYS dumb to trade one great player for two slightly worse ones is it? I would think by splitting up your great player into two, ostensibly, you are minimizing risk. Its less likely that one player does bad or one player gets injured than two. Agree or disagree, I'd like to hear what everybody thinks.

Gore for Lamont?? If you trade frank gore for lamont jordan, youre in for a world of dissappointment. Lamonts next two weeks: Baltimore and Bye... and I dunno which week he'll do better! Raiders are truly dreadful.
-
I needed zero! he got me -1!!!!!
-
fantastic. howdyou guys handle game time decisions? just replace him and wait for next week, or try to hear anything 10 mins till game time? I figure a healthy matt jones will put up better numbers than an aching housh...
