    home page?

I get a page that says "Time Out---please take our survey" with nothing linked....
  2. I'm going to have to point out that your 'reading comprehension' is a little non-existent. I'm not saying Lynch is going to get 320 carries. I'm saying Buffalo isn't going to use a RBBC. The first six or seven games it may be Anthony Thomas, from then on it may be Marshawn Lynch, but to suggest they will split carries during games isn't reflective of what the Bills have done with their running backs in the past.
  3. Well, we're not talking about Taylor or McAllister. We're talking about the Buffalo Bills. Of course not, but the offensive philosophy of the organization isn't likely to radically change either. Anthony Thomas got 107 carries last season, not because he shared a role with Willis McGahee, but because he had 82 of those carries 4 games McGahee missed all or part of. That means Thomas averaged 2 carries a game when he wasn't the featured back. That's a pretty significant indication that the Bills won't be running an RBBC if you ask me.
  4. If you break it down by game, the #1 RB got 322 carries for the Bills last season. There is no evidence there will be a RBBC in Buffalo.

Is Troy Williamson #1 in Minny?

    He plays like #2.

    Worst NFL team in 2007

The Falcons deserve to be on this poll as well.

    Worst NFL team in 2007

I totally agree and I think the Raiders are bunk. Minimum 6 wins in '07.

What rounds are Cutler & Rivers being drafted

I'm guessing around the 7th for a standard 12-team redraft.

Who is 2007's version of Brees.....Gore.....Colston

My candidates: QB: Ben Roethlisberger RB: DeAngelo Williams, Cedric Benson, Willis McGahee WR: Deion Branch, Reggie Williams, Dwayne Bowe

Name your #3 wr from this list

Marc Clayton Deion Branch Braylon Edwards Vincent Jackson Those 4 as finalists. Probably would rank them Branch, Edwards, Clayton, Jackson. Though I don't necessarily think they will finish in that order.

The players we ended up with were drafted by two people, yes, but it was a collective effort in terms of a game plan we started working on in the summer. We all met in Vegas and had a Friday strategy session, and those who were not drafting participated as moderators for other drafts. There's a break after Round 6 where we were able to meet and go over a second half strategy. Basically, it's not the ideal way to do things if you're a control freak, but it's significantly less to split up the entry fee and having a group divvies up the legwork required to be an "expert" in many respects. Personally, I feel like it's been a real positive experience to do it with a team. As far as cost goes, it was about $1700 last year for the entry. Add this year's $150 one-night room requirement, and it bounces up to $1850-1900. Depending on how hard you want to do the Vegas thing, with airfare in with that and you're looking at a minimum of $2500 going it alone. And as football_scooter pointed out, there is definitely a lot of payouts and very reasonable chances to make your investment back. And as he also pointed out, enough can go wrong in a short amount of time in a 10-week head-to-head season to derail the best of lineups. Definitely a fun time and I'd check it out, even with a group of four.

    Read it again.
  13. Random: pull teams out of a hat until a sufficient schedule is created. Standings: Use last year's standings to divide teams in to groups of 3 where they play each other. So, #1, #2, and #3 play each other; #4, #5, and #6; etc..

This year, the Vegas draft is being held at some resort outfit 6 miles off the strip AND they are requiring a one-night room purchase at the hotel as part of the entry fee. It's still Vegas, but that far away from stuff, you might as well be in Reno. I'm still planning on going, and since there's a larger group we split the fees with, it's not a tremendous hit. I can understand if it is the deal breaker for pairs or single person entries though.

    Jeff Samardja

I've seen chatter about him, and the Rookie Scouting Portfolio grades him highly, but he's considered one of the top pitching prospects in the Cubs system after only a partial season in the minors. MLB teams don't just give $10 million deals to 5th Round draft choices, so I assume that means they intend/expect for him to be pitching in Wrigley someday relatively soon. Someone might take a flier on him in the 6th or 7th, I suppose, just in case he blows his arm out, but Samardjia has made it clear where his priorities are.
