    Torrey Smith or Brandon LaFell

Crazy isn't the right word here

What is the current value of Chris Johnson?

I would take whatever I could get for Johnson...but Green is a downgrade from Thomas. Both are great talents, but give me the guy with the better QB and supporting cast.

Played the guy that had Brees, Megatron and McCoy today

His team sounds like it was better to me. Unless the rest of his team us total garbage, how is he not the 1 seed. He has the one of the top 2 players at each of the 3 main positions.

    Done with H2H only leagues

We pay out the Super Bowl winner, the total points winner, and the All Play winner. Each get a third. The same team can take all 3. This takes some of the luck factor out in the total points and all play but leaves the luck factor in for the Super Bowl. Every team makes the playoffs. This keeps everyone interested in trading and free agency and eliminates any questionable moves.

What is the correct/best way to do FF playoffs?

In my 12 team league, everyone makes playoffs with top 4 seeds on a bye. Highest seeded team will play the lowest remaining seed each week. No one loses interest and makes the league more fun. We don't have problems with BS trades because everyone has hope.

2nd highest in points and still a loser

Head to head is stupid. Do All-Play and stop complaining
  7. I wonder if any of you guys watch the games or just look at yardages. Jackson, when given the oppurtunity, has NOT looked bad. The OC (or whoever is doing the play calling) is limiting him. Before they pull the plug it would be nice to give the kid a chance to actually throw the ball in the game. There is no question that running the ball is the strong suit for this offense, but I think Jackson is more than capable of making some plays with his arm if they coaching staff would simply LET him.

Panic has set in WEEK 1!

If Detroit is available I would look there. They have a good matchup this week and they have several more good matchups coming over the next 4 or 5 weeks.

    Some Interesting Articles

That was some good stuff. While I think some of it was off base, I agreed with alot of it and I liked the authors views and the data to back them up. I appreciate the links.

    In a keeper league

I thought your Turner example was spot on. You didn't drop him because of his potential keeper value, you may could have traded him for something but people won't give much for him because they know your situation. People think "he's got to drop him so I'll just wait and give him nothing for him in a trade and when he's on the WW drop a junk player to pick him up." They still get him as a keeper no matter what. If they couldn't keep WW pick ups then Turner has way more value. Your second example, it sucks you didn't get to draft him but you have oppurtunity to trade for him. If someone is dropping him they have lost hope for that player and you can always get him on the cheap. Whatever works for you...great. I know there are alot of different logics and that's fine by me. Just giving the posters my leagues perspective.

    In a keeper league

I'm glad to see that you can read and understand what I'm saying. With a 20 man roster, anyone who gets dropped isn't worth the roster spot at the time. I don't see why someone else should benefit (by keeping him the next season) from getting to pick him up at a later date when he becomes viable. No one wanted him and everyone would laugh at you if you tried to trade him saying "He might be a good keeper". If it works for you...great. We just don't see why people should be rewarded the following season for picking up someone they didn't deem worthy of a draft pick or a trade. That's all I'm saying.

    In a keeper league

This guy is dead on. It is complete BS that someone get to keep a player that he was lucky enough to be in positiion to pick up the best FA for the week. You should never be allowed to keep someone who was not drafted. Period. In our league, if a player is every a FA in that season...you can't keep him. Some drafts Anthony Gonzalez in the 18th...after 3 weeks he has done nothing and needs some roster space so he drops him...week 10 someone picks him up because he's doing decent...the new Gonzalez owner cannot keep him because, even though he was drafted, he was acquired via the FA pool.

    For those who missed it....

I saw that on tv the other day...that was great. The kid probablly thought "who is this loser and why does he think I want him to sign my football?"

Help me with keeper league setup...

Getting to keep studs drafted in the 1st 2 rounds every year sucks. It makes no sense. You are rewarding someone simply because of where they drafted. The only way to do it is to lose a couple of rounds from where they were previously drafted. Do NOT keep free agents...again you are rewarding someone for where they fell in the FA pool one week. If no one has the foresight to draft someone...then there is no keeping that player. Rule 1....ALL keepers must have been drafted.

not every other top 10 wrs list. rip away!

This list is also flawed because there is no Reggie Wayne on it.
