PTAKBuCS 0 Posted July 6, 2006 1.07 7 edgerrin james................VERY GOOD. 2.08 22 willis mcgahee...............Risky, but could be huge. 3.13 41 daunte culpepper...........Steal of your draft (IF stays healthy) 4.02 44 roy williams (wr)............Not a good #1 WR, good upside though. 5.09 65 curtis martin..................Hate this pick. 6.06 76 rod smith......................He was old 5 years ago. 7.05 89 drew brees...................Great backup and probably starter pick. 8.10 108 keenan mccardell........He's STILL in the league? 9.01 113 london fletcher............WHO? 10.14 140kevan barlow.............Stinks. 11.10 150 drew bennett.............White WR, nuff said. 12.05 159 ed reed.....................Obviously very good. 13.11 179 amani toomer............So old. 14.04 186 rex grossman............Stinks. Not bad for a 14-team league really. Alot of IF's though. If it all works out you could be very good. Any other RBs available at 5.09? Or a better WR than Rod Smith at 5.09? Just wondering...hope you enjoyed my attempt at humor also. Good luck.

Good luck. i do like your humor ... as for rb`s 5.09 this was a 14 team league and 1st 2 rds 20-22 rbs went in a row ...so that tells u slim pickings after rd 2 ..i only grabbed martin as he was at leasta starter in case i need him on bye week ...and there were no wr`s IMO worth that early a pick since after rb run there was a huge run on wr`s ....not many qbs went in early rds ...manning palmer thats about it ... PTAKBuCS 0 Posted July 6, 2006 Yeah I can see that run on RBs forcing your hand with Martin. That's how it usually goes I suppose. You're solid at the top...if Roy Williams can be dominant like he can be, you're in great shape.

g5jamz 0 Posted July 7, 2006 I probably would've gotten a better WR1 in the 3rd round, but not bad and it depends on your scoring.
