Half Dozen Running Back Options, NEED 3

kj and wynn definitely. I think wright is a great option if he actually gets the nod. However, I think that may not happen. I would probably take young, but the wait will be unbearable...

    Alexander for MBIII

While I would likely put it a little differently, I think vwneogeovw hits the nail on the head here. While I would never wish for such a thing, don't forget it is about time for JJ to go down with an injury... thoughts? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=0#entry3387593

    Chambers, McDonald, or Moose?

I would go with Moose this week, but Chambers should be a great option going forward, once he get comfortable with Rivers and Co. Now we will see what Chambers has really got. He has been in a pretty poor situation for several seasons... mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=0#entry3387593

    COMPOTENT #2 RB!

I would rule Jordan out. Maroney is intriguing given the likelyhood that the Skins will be doing everything they can to slow down the passing barage. This whole playing in London thing gives me some concerns about Chatman, but what else are the Dolphins going to do? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298578

    Help w QB Choices?

I think I would go Cutler and Rivers. The Broncos are going to have to go to the air in what will likely be a shootout against GB. Rivers should fair ok, whereas, Chicago could play a full game like it did the first three Qs against Detroit earlier this season... remember the Lions had only 3 points going into the final quarter. thought? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298578

    1 week qb problem

Ouch! I would love to say, Go with Vinny. That may even turn out to be the best option. However, you run the risk that the Panthers go with Carr, so there is some serious downside. I think, given the matchups, Edwards or Smith should put up something in the neighborhood of 8-10 points. I wouldn't hope for too much more in your situation. Just hope the rest of your team gives you some decent production... thoughts? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298578

    QB Help

I think I agree with aportanenko, Palmer is a solid start, even against a decent Pitt D. Greasy is a risky play even though the matchup is quite enticing. The lions have 9 INTs (tied for second most in the league) and 13 forced fumbles (also number 2) at least some of which came as a result of their 17 sacks. While Greasy may produce, he could get penalized pretty severely in the process... your thoughts? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298578

Which 2 WR would you start of these 3?

I agree -- Galloway and Johnson, although I have to admit I am a little more bullish on Johnson (I am a GT alum and considering Johnson as a flex myself...) your thoughts? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298578

QB to start - Rosenfels or Garcia?

i like Garcia against the Jags. I don't see Jax controlling the game on the ground, and I think TB will struggle to build up a big enough lead to try doing so themselves... What do you think? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=298578
  10. I have been struggling with my QB decision all season -- Favre or Eli in a standard QB scoring format (1pt/25yds + bonus at 300, 4pts/TD, -1pt/INT). Before week 6, I decided I would go with Favre, barring injury for the rest of the season (except his bye last week). However, his dismal week 6 performance has me second guessing myself. The Dolphins matchup seems like a great one for Eli, although I don't know how to factor in the London thing. That having been said, Favre could shine in Denver if Champ Bailey is gimpy. So decision number 1, who to play this week (thoughts on prospects going forward are welcome also): Brett Favre Eli Manning Choice number two is for my flex spots in a PPR league. I need to choose two between: Kevin Jones Steven Jackson Calvin Johnson Maurice Jones-Drew Let me know you thoughts and leave links, if I haven't already chipped in on yours...

    E.Manning or Hasselbeck!

I agree with the above except that I would be very careful of eli this week. the giants could be running out the clock on the gorund the entire second half this game. i wouldn't be surprised if eli is 10 for 15 with about 150 yds and only one touch... hasselbeck on the other hand is likely to be still trying to create a comfortable margin late into the second half -- maybe 25 of 35 for 250 and 2. let me know what you think http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=295264

Would you trade Ronnie Brown for Ben Rothlisberger?

The playoffs detail is pretty significant. before i saw that i was going to say you should be able to get a much better qb than big ben for ronnie b. it sounds like qbs are in pretty short supply though. i think i would still hold on to ronnie for a game or two more. the cleveland game should only further separate his stats from the pack and another game will give you a better sense of big ben's and others' playoff potential... let me know what you think about my TE dilema. btw, it is a ppr league. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=295264

    A good problem!

Thanks for your reply on my TE dilema. even though i own mjd, I think I might go with jacobs... the giants are going to so thoroughly dominate the falcons that they may not have to throw a pass all second half. garbage time is looking pretty good for jacobs, who still needs some snaps to regain his form. that having been said, i am starting mjd this week, so if you go that way, i'll be pulling for him with you

    WW TE question

I have been dreading this week all season -- wayne, d clark, colts d (waived for titans d), calvin johnson, and kevin jones riding pine (and steven jackson on the crapper). i have been working for the last two weeks to positions myself without compromising the rest of the season and then deion branch had to go and bust a pinky toe. anyway, i have serviceable replacements in every position except for TE and my choices are: Jeff King (CAR) Eric Johnson (NO) Greg Olsen (CHI) Visanthe Shiancoe (MIN) Marcus Pollard (SEA) Bo Scaife (TEN) Quinn Sypniewsky (BAL) Justin Peele (MIA) Marcedes Lewis (JAX) Chris Baker (NYJ) Bubba Franks (GB) I am leaning toward the underachieving veteran, eric johnson, or the high potential rookie, greg olsen, but feel like i could pretty much flip an eleven-sided coin on this one. Does anyone have any good arguments for any of these guys? BTW, this is a PPR league.

Need a WW TE this week

i am in a similar situation, but found found eric johnson available and nabbed him. i am considering greg olsen as i think the potential upside is probably greater -- this is my worst bye week and the team i am playing has everyone, with good matchups. i think i would still take johnson or olsen over any of these guys, but i am not sure who to choose...
