Tiki didn't get the full time duties until his 6th season. Because they didn't hand the job to Jacobs over a probowler in his second season means he won't be good? I guess LJ sucks too because he wasn't starting over Holmes in year 1.

Jacobs is a beast. He's going to have a monster year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4W_pgc8as90

For your viewing pleasure, Jacobs verses the Bucks: http://mvn.com/nfl-giants/ And Jacobs verses the Boys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtWEyQgxE-I -
Any info will be appreciated.

Do you have any recollection of what Ron Dayne did as a short yardage back in NY? These backs are not even remotly comparable. Jacobs is bigger, faster, and plays with a lot more fire than Dayne ever did.

Those who parted ways with Ben Watson may regret it

I was thinking about trading him, but decided to hold on. Glad I did. He seems to be Brady's favorite target and looks like Brady is coming around. -
Good call.

I don't think so. His turnovers cost them a game to a two win team (TB). He failed to get the job done against Jacksonville. Is McNabb really the league MVP? If not, who? Some people were saying Steve Smith, but I think he's no longer a front runner as that team too has been disapointing. I am going to suggest peyton Manning in a landslide right now. No one player means more to their team than Peyton. I don't even think it's close.

I'm not saying they wouldn't be. But those games will give us a better idea how they matchup physically against that level of competition. I think the biggest takaway we'll get out of those games is seeing how the Bear's young QB responds to the pressure games. I think for Chicago, that would be the one concern.
-
Yes, I agree. And I don't know anyone who has not given them credit. A lot of credit, in fact. But I think it'll be the NYG and New England games that will tell the tale if this is a legitmate SB favorite, as most believe, or just a bully (I don't think they are). You mentioned Indi, and that is a great example with how they went out in the playoffs last season. Chicago has done everything you would want them to do thus far, but if I were a fan, I would be very interested to see how they perform against playoff level competition. They'll have their chance to prove it, I'm just not certain they've had the opportunity just yet.

It sure sounded like that guy I responded to was. Look, I think we can all agree that Chicago is a great team. But they have not yet been tested this season. Of their seven wins, for of them have come against teams with no more than 2 wins, five of the seven against teams with three or fewer wins. NY and NE will be good tests for them.

Are you kidding me? Most Dallas and Giants fans have acknowledged Chicago as the best team in the NFL right now. Their teams have played good teams week in week out. Chicago has looked awsome, but against a lot of really bad teams, and their fans have already handed themselves the super bowl. As good as Chicago has been, they have not been tested. The NFC East and South have been beating each other up while Chicago has been fattening themselves up playing weak teams in the West and North.
-
The Giants are WAY more tested. Chicago has played the softest schedule and would not look nearly as good statistically had they faced the teams the Giants have week in week out. The Giants have faced the #1, #2, #5, and #6 offenses, and that's not including Seattle who they faced in Seattle, where they are far better, and with Alexander and Hasselbeck in the line up. Chicago is a very good team. But why are their fans flexing their chest beating teams like Green bay and San Francisco?
