    Ertz ?

Exactly. If you don't have any of those listed (I would add Eifert to it), it's gonna be a week to week proposition. If there is one guy I would consider playing this week that is completely off the radar, it's Trey Burton. Seattle has personnel to match up one on one with Philly's passing attack...except Burton. He can exploit Seattle's LBs in space. If the Eagles go 4 wide and split Burton out (with Sproles in the one back set), someone will have a mismatch. Will Seattle allow a mismatch on Sproles, or on the seldom used Burton?

    Ertz ?

    Keith Jackson?

When do you drop the bench

Exactly. I've been mulling over the same thing these past few weeks, having Brees as my starter and Taylor as his backup. If I lose Brees, can I win a championship with Taylor? Is Taylor above and beyond anything available on the WW? I'm in a 12 team league, so the answers to the above questions for me: Yes and Yes. IMO, a FF championship can be won with a guy like Cousins, considering the guy has proven he can put up huge numbers from time to time.

    Kuechly Concussed

But it's not going to change anything. At one point in boxing, they talked about going to head gear. No one was gonna watch fighters with head gear on.

    Kuechly Concussed

Going back to play this season is total insanity. Frankly speaking, the hit he took to his head wasn't really a big blow. His chest seemed to absorb most of the impact. So you may say "Colonel, his brain was jarred because of the whiplash effect!" That's even more disconcerting. At the very least, he should be forced to sit out the rest of the season to get his wits about him. The guy is 25 years old and a great player. Sit out next season as well, get a thorough neurological examination after the year is over.

Tre Mason takeover... 16-20 points today (standard scoring)

I think Mason is a lot better than the two you mentioned. He's a home run hitter. I traded for him about 4 weeks ago (Greg Jennings), because I watched him against Philly and saw his explosiveness. I'm glad I got it right.

What Coaches will be fired this season?

I would think the pending free agency of Bryant and Murray would have an impact on anyone considering coaching the Cowboys. Cowboys go far, Garrett holds all the cards. If Cowboys miss playoffs, Garrett gets sacrificed. If Garrett goes, what about Bryant and Murray?

    Trading FOR Jimmy Graham

I gave up Sanu, Donnell and the Texans' Dee for Graham. Now I'm able to roll with a Big Four of Peyton, Demarius, Cobb and Graham. If Bradshaw can stay healthy, I have a shot at winning it all this year. You can see Graham slowly building back into the beast.

    F-Jax hurt, now Spiller

It doesn't sound that picking up either guy is worth it. Judging by the comments, Brown is poor in pass protection. The Bills throw it 41/game. If Dixon is in there on passing plays, he's being used for blocking? Bryce Brown is a very talented back. Sounds to me that the coaches aren't sold on his pass blocking abilities. Now they don't have a choice. I would think he gets at least 10 carries a game. Not sure if that's enough to warrant a waiver wire selection.

    Andre Williams vs Philly

So thankfully, I was wrong about the outcome of the game and wishful of Donnell's production (I started him). Guess I got the rest of it right. On both sides of the ball, the Giants got beat badly up front.

    Mohamed Sanu ROS

    Lineup aside, he's a good receiver. There's a reason why he's #29 in PPR leagues. He's good.
  12. Col.Walter.E.Kurtz.

    Andre Williams vs Philly

I would not expect too much from him today. I would not expect too much from the Giants' offense at all, with the exception of Larry Donnell. Eagles' defense has been getting beat up by bigger and more physical offensive lines. That's been the consistent theme behind their the failures on defense. The Eagles will be missing both of their ILBs for this game, and as a fan, that makes me think the Giants win. It won't be pretty, and I can't see this guy doing a whole lot. He's not an exceptional talent.

What is your league All-Star waiver wire team to date?

In a 12 team PPR league, I was fortunate enough to grab Bradshaw and Larry Donnell. Donnell's been huge as I drafted Cameron Jordan.

    J. Bell is probably dropable at this point, no?

I picked him up as a flex sub for Reggie Bush. IMO, Bush will get the workload in the next few weeks, coach will lighten the load and put it on Bell. It will go back and forth for the remainder of the season.

    Preseason Standouts

Dion Lewis, RB, Philadelphia Eagles. After watching the game this past Thursday, my initial assessment is that he's eventually going to be the #2 back behind Shady McCoy. Very quick, accelerates through the hole, runs between the tackles. More importantly, he was picking up the blitz pretty well in that game, which is a very big hurdle for any back in Reid's offense, if that back wants to see time on the field this season. Let's face it, Ronnie Brown is slow. Too many miles on those tires. I can't see him being the legitimate backup to McCoy this season. It'll limit what the Eagles will be able to do on the field b/c he isn't a threat out of the backfield. It was just one game so I'll remain cautiously optimistic. Kid has some talent.
