But I wonder how many times you've tried to defend a white athlete for doing something wrong. Maybe we should all be thankful that Vick isn't white.
I don't want to add injury to insult, but cmon. Listen to what everyone is saying. A $10K donation, a charity, and a pen pal don't make you a saint. That would be like me donating a dollar to the homeless man on the corner. A funeral runs about 10K for one. You are right though, he didn't have to donate anything, so the question is why he only donated 10K? Maybe it's because he's black?? or maybe because he lost too much money that week on cocaine and dog fighting?? Maybe he had his white agent make the donation for him and he's the one that screwed up? Damn cracker.
I love the pen pal thing. And it was a chick too. Vick has to solicit bitches by mail now or maybe he wanted see if she'd like to place a bet on which dog would win, because he as sure hell can't bet for ######. Latest I heard was about 3 dozen dog bodies in HIS back yard. I know, that not his and he doesn't know anything about it.
Now don't get me wrong, he might have some nice qualities to him somewhere. But so did Manson and Hannibal Lecter. The world doesn't need people like him and the NFL doesn't either.
